KONG Massage Brush Zoom Groom

I have 3 cats and they hate this brush. I have tried it on many occasions and not a hope.

This brush is too big and scary for my small cat. My cat totally hate it, and I cannot even bring this brush hear her.

I got this because of the great reviews and sadly it was a little disappointing. It's beautifully made,it's soft and my cat certainly enjoyed the sensation of being groomed (and that's a first!) but it collected very little hair.However as a de-stress massage brush and circulation stimulator it works wonders, So 5 stars for that but it's back to the grooming board for bad hair days.

Best brush ever, I’m shocked to see the amount of hair I wouldn’t think that a such of small brush can do this great job on my cat.

I tried so many groom brushes for my cat and I can finally say that this is the one making the difference. The best one I ever used so far!

Am about to order more. My cat can't get enough of it. Even lies on his back, legs akimbo and head right back in my hand, wanting me to do his whole stomach and throat area. He cries to me until I succumb and spend ten minutes grooming him every night and morning! I have worn down the "bristles" on two zoom grooms, but well worth it as apart from the joy it brings him, it really does remove loose fur extremely well. Only word of caution is to comb your cat after to remove stray hairs.

My black and white domestic shorthair loves this ecstatically, especially in her head . She'd be bald if I groomed her with it as much as she wants :-)

My cat always hated being groomed until I got the Kong. Now I just show it to him and he comes running from wherever he is and falls over on his back waiting to be groomed. He just can't get enough of it. I do comb him after finishing with the Kong as a lost of loose hair lies all over him until removed with a fine comb. He absolutely adores it and it stops the dreaded hairballs.

I have used this on my very elderly cat (age 22), and it keeps her fur in really good condition whilst being gentle.

I'm a professional cat sitter as well as having cats of my own. The Kong Zoom Groom massage brush is amazing, I haven't yet met a cat who doesn't absolutely love it. However for a long haired cat they really also need to be groomed with a traditional metal comb as well to prevent hairballs in their stomach.

I am so glad I bought this brush. I have a short hair and a semi - longhaired cat. This brush is perfect for both of them. One cat had been refusing to be brushed lately but she loves groom time again. They are actually fighting over who goes first. I think i need to buy another. Definitely recommend getting one now with shedding season beginning. I've removed enough hair for another cat already.

This little rubber 'brush', with its soft and flexible rubber 'fingers' is like catnip in the intensity of its effect on my cats! The only downside in using it is the cats want to get as close to me as possible whilst I am using it on them so they keep shifting position throughout in order to press themselves onto me. Not only is it HIGHLY effective in removing loose hair - so my two have gone from throwing up a hairball about once a month to barely one between them every 3 or 4 months - it also gives them a superb massage each time and leaves their coats extra soft and glossy. When they see me get it out of the drawer they act like it's their favourite toy! I really can't praise this brush highly enough - get one!

I first bought one of these for my mother's elderly cat, as I thought she might like the massaging action, and she did. She loves it, and Mum likes it too because it takes out so much loose fur on her long-haired kitty. I bought another one for my kitten, because I've been unable to brush her because she attacks the brush. She enjoys this so much she hasn't bothered to attack it. Just a little nibble and then she lets me get on with it. Wonderful product!

Our cat Theodore, was half feral when we adopted him. He wasn't particularly loving. Forget grooming him! Until we got the Zoom & Groom. He loved it immediately. It's like a calming massage for him, he rolls around having the time of his life, and considering the fact that he's only got short hair it certainly picks up a lot! A few years on and he's a much more friendly cat - it might just have been time and him getting used to domestic life, although I think the Zoom & Groom helped the bonding process at the very least.

This works very well for my short-haired cats. One of them has a double coat and sheds a lot, but this removes so much hair and doesn’t hurt her skin. It even works well on my cat with very short hair.

The brush works really well, the hair sticks to it or sometimes stays on the cat (so it works great together with the glove), but at least it doesn't fly around in the air. The cats have come to enjoy being brushed.

What an amazing brush this is, it really exceeded my expectations. It removes a lot of hair. I have a European Shorthair cat. He’s perfectly fine with being brushed with this one. During the hot summer, I wet the brush and used it to groom him to help cool him down a bit.

Besides removing an impressive amount of fur, my two cats actually fight over who gets brushed every day (I’ve had to brush them daily since I bought it!). They can’t wait for it! Highly recommended!

I rarely leave reviews, but I really have to praise this product. I used to have one of those classic wire slicker brushes, but with my Russian Blue cats, I hardly got anything out. Their fur is very special with this breed. With the Groomi, I can brush out whole clumps in just a few seconds.

10-year-old sterilised short-haired European cat. US-made version replaced by Chinese one. First bought on 09/10/16 = 66g on 17/06/23 (very, very worn out). Second one on 17/06/23 = 69g new and 68g on 03/12/25. Last one on 28/11/25 = 61g new. Less effective, creates static electricity, most of the fur stays on the cat and the fur on the brush is hard to remove. The daily session she still asks for seems less pleasant for the cat.

Looks good, but my cat doesn’t like it at all. Maybe it’s just my cat who doesn’t want it—she’s almost scared of it and won’t let me put it on her, even though I’ve tried very gently. I hope others have a better experience.
