It’s empty in here!
I run a cat rescue and often have very ...we will say.. active cats in it. It is rock solid and has never failed us in three years. The larger version is not as sturdy and so we only use it for long journeys. This is our favourite carrier and with cable ties and a padlock we never worry about the cats inside it. Absolutely brilliant.
Like other reviewers my first thought was 'flimsy' but on assembly, with cable ties through corners, it seems quite sturdy. The locking mechanism for the grid is excellent as my cat had mastered the art of escaping from his plastic-gridded carrier. The white colour makes it lighter and airier. At the price an excellent buy for short trips to vet and cattery.
Happily fits two 4.5kg cats inside & doesn't feel like it struggles with that weight. Takes some practice to get it together but it's no real issue. Handy for cats that don't like getting out at the vets! And great that it can be stored more easily than a big box.
I am extremely pleased with this very stylish and practical carrier. It is perfect for my petite feline friend and makes trips to the vets a more pleasant and comfortable experience for us both. Thanks to Zooplus for superb service and fast delivery.
I have 11 cats and I can only see myself using this for 2 of my small ones. It just doesn't seem as it will hold together with a med to heavy cat so I won't be trusting it. The way it fits together just isn't clean and when you snap the fastners that hold top to bottom there is no reassuring tightening or snap to make you think it's gonna hold. I only needed it as a spare so it's fine. I would be upset if I had paid more, but I'm marking it good because I got what I paid for honestly.
I'm very happy with this for our russian blue she has plenty of room and when travelling it is very handy. Lately we have been having to travel in the rain has anyone brought anything that can cover this box up as by the time we get to the destination our kitten is very wet. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help. =]
I originally thought the carrier was flimsy when I first took it out of the box but, upon assembly, it was obviously very sturdy and really well made. Unfortunately I bought I thinking it was a fairly big carrier, my new kitten is a Bengal and I realised as soon as I'd assembled the carrier that it would have to be replaced when he got older. It's perfect for now though, just for his first few vet trips and the trip with us to his new forever home! It's super cosy inside when it has his blanket in there so I'm sure it will be ok! :)
great carrier. spacious, lots of holes for air and nice opening on the top for stroking the cat. very comfortable door!
