Biokat’s Organic Care Wood Fibres

This cat litter is perfect for cats who like fine granules; unlike clay litter, this one is very light. Plus, it’s made from sustainably produced wood fibres. It smells pleasant and does a great job at keeping odours at bay. If you scoop the trays every day, you can use the litter for several months. There is some tracking, but that's the case with all litters; keeping a dustpan and brush next to the tray works wonders.

Such a shame, yet another manufacturer that doesn't deliver on their promises. Just another bad purchase, it creates so much dust! I'm not even going to try it with a sensitive cat and owner.…

- Wood fibres are way less dusty than pellets that break down over time. - If you sift it daily, it stays clean and odourless. Lasts a good while! - Small clumps, so it's very economical. - Downside: it gets everywhere, but with a mat at the litter box exit and another at the bathroom exit (Koaa), it's already much more manageable.

Looks good, but the crumb factor is still there... and unfortunately mine don't like going in. I've gone back to clumping litter. But we'll give the pea fibres a try at some point.

Based on the photo, I expected the same composition as Cat's Best Original. But the pellets are noticeably smaller, more like coarse dust. It doesn't smell like wood, it actually looks more like ground corn. Either the photo is wrong or the contents of the bag were incorrect.

I’ve been using regular clumping litter for ages. But it’s heavy. Heavy to lift, heavy to empty. The bin gets heavy, and there’s usually quite a bit of dust too. I wanted to try something different. The cats really like it. Digging is a bit different because it’s such a light material. It doesn’t smell. Not even after a week and a half of just scooping. It lasts longer for me with three cats. There is quite a bit of tracking, but I actually prefer it this way. I’d rather stand on the soft wood than the hard old pellets (in the bathroom).
