Sanicat Cellulose Cat Litter

I bought this by mistake thinking it was a clumping litter. My first time using a cellulose product. Overall not bad. I wasn't sure if I should remove the wet spots or mix into the rest. Overall I didn't think it was as stinky as the Catsan non-clumping

I bought this litter for a kitten just a few weeks old because it's biodegradable and doesn't clump, so if it were swallowed, it wouldn't cause any intestinal blockages. Of course, since it doesn't clump, you have to change it more often in the litter box, otherwise it can start to smell. Overall, I'm happy with it.

I was looking for a cat litter for a cat with sore paws. This one came up via AI (along with a few other types). However, I find it totally unsuitable for that purpose. It feels hard (painful), even to my fingers. And my other cat (who doesn’t have sore paws) wants absolutely nothing to do with it either. Of course, every cat is different, but mine won’t go near it.. P.S. I had exactly the same experience with a similar product. I’ll post the same review there.

If you have an asthmatic cat, it's great because it doesn't make any dust at all.

Just small rolls of dark grey paper. It doesn’t clump and you can’t see where the pee is because the paper is dark, so you can’t tell which part is wet and which isn’t. It’s a shame because the price is good.
