Sanicat Classic Lavender Cat Litter

Poor clumping and smells

Terrible litter, it doesn't absorb and you end up using loads of it. The lavender scent isn't there at all. I won't be buying it again!

This is the perfect litter for my next cat. I have no idea what they see or smell in it???? Cons: it’s really dusty, not very efficient, doesn’t “cover” the smell, spreads everywhere like crazy, the lavender scent is barely noticeable. Sometimes it’s as loose as sand, other times there are stones like from a rubble pile. However, a few times it was just the right texture and the lavender scent was clear. The manufacturer definitely knows how to get cats hooked on their product. The price is shocking too. Pros: my cat x2 likes it, it doesn’t clump.

I bought it when it was still labelled as clumping litter – but it doesn’t clump at all. Maybe it absorbs odours while it’s in the tray, but as soon as I scoop it out, all the smell comes out 🤡 It’s incredibly dusty! Whenever I pour it from the bag, you can see the dust rising. I ordered two bags because another litter from this brand worked well for me, but in this case it was just money down the drain...
