We clean our cat's litter twice a day. So, we wanted something that would allow the convenience of just disposing of it without two trips to the outside bin every day but also didn't stick out like a sore thumb. It's easy use: open the lid, put the soiled litter in the hole, pull the handle to drop the litter into the lower compartment, and close the lid. Best of all, there's no lingering smell. The opening that you put the litter into is a little small, but overall we are really pleased.

Found a number of issues I'm not happy with. The bin capacity isn't big enough. I have 2 cats and I need to empty this bin every other day.. might as well just clean the tray out daily and take it straight out. This bin just seems to add work on a more regular basis. Bags are more expensive and you don't get as much on the roll as the litter champ. They're also weak and don't hold the weight and break. Its faffy to use pulling a tray back and forth instead of an automatic pedal style lid.

The functionally of this new Litter Locker is very similar to its predecessor in that you pull out a shelf, drop in the waste and then you release the shelf, sealing in odour. The big change is that the central hole where the waste goes through is now much larger. No longer do you have to manoeuvre used litter through a narrow drop, while trying to avoid the edges. For that reason alone, I like this bin.
