It’s empty in here!
Our cat has gone mad for this toy since it was opened at Christmas. He can't get enough. I haven't seen him this active and interested in a toy in a long time. The fluttering sound it makes certainly grabs his attention but I envisage having to replace the feathers in a short space of time as he has already torn out several in his enthusiasm for it.
After exhausting all other toys fast my cat absolutely goes into prey mode every time with this toy, the clever feather design makes it flutter in the air just similar to a bird. Gives me a very tired kitty after every play time with this toy. Highly recommend!!
Our cats go berserk for this toy, it's very Bird like and it seizes their attention, and sends them flying into the air as they spring up trying to catch it. However...when they do, it falls apart in your hands - all the parts separate. You can mostly reattach them - if your little monster doesn't run off into the bushes with their new 'kill', at least for a while. 9/10 for fun, 2/10 for durability.
The stick is so long I can get my cat to jump and run around really far without me having to move! The feathers twist around in the air as it moves. The feathers may fall out in time, but I'll definitely be buying more of these. A new favourite!
My two boys obsessed with this toy, provides lots of fun for all of us . The quality could be better easy to pull the string of the stick
My kittens love this. They get so excited when it comes out of the cupboard. Quality could be better. We have three now. One is full of feathers, one has one feather left and one the whole plastic attachment containing feathers snapped off on first play. However the kittens prefer the one with just the metal on the end!
My cat loves this toy and we’ve bought (and destroyed) two of them. The string detached from the pole pretty easily, but for the price you can’t go wrong.
Our cats love this toy and we play with them and "the bird" morning and evening so that they get good exercise. It is not particularly sturdy, so you don't want to let the cat catch it often, but they love jumping for it. We order multiples as they are not expensive and are their favorite toy.
The second I took this toy out of the wrapper our cat went mental for it. He's usually quite chilled out about letting go of ribbons/string/etc while we're playing and I've never heard him growl over a toy before but he absolutely loved this and won't let go. He'll do backflips and strange jumps to catch it - however it isn't the best quality product and the feather attachment came off the rod after our first play session.
My very lazy indoor cat Cuthbert absolutely loves this toy. What a brilliant exercise toy (he is starting his diet today as getting a bit chubby) .He is running and jumping and doesn't lose interest in it like most of his other toys and we are both having lots of fun. Will definitely buy more. Great value
we have 15 months old queen cat, she is very active.very , she plays with everything but lately i notice our play time was the same and could see she was getting bored.i said i give a chance with this toy. she loves it so much she cries for it looking around the house. we know the what to take out, she run after the feathers until she looses her breath, passing like a dog, we eventually got her tired to a point that she did not want to move from one place any more.
The cat dangler itself is good and lasts for a week of intense fun. but using it is not easy, which makes playing with a cat a senseless waving a stick. My cat is interested in the toy only when it is hidden then he can "hunt" for it, and for thoughtful play I need a toy that is easier to control. The second problem is that the cat, after catching his prey, plucked the end of the stick and ran away, which can be a bit dangerous when on the move, the stick will block, hitch about something.
I’ve had this toy for 2 days and my cats won’t leave it alone, they love it! Just ordered another one to stop the squabbles over who gets to play with it
My cats love this and go mad over it, if we start playing with this, my sleepy cat comes out of her den to come and play. Its really good value and will be buying more of these.
My cat loves this toy and she is very fussy. This is every bit as good as a famous brand and a fraction of the price. The flying noise is realistic. Excellent toy and an excellent price. Would highly recommend this. Such good service from Zooplus as always. Such good services and fast delivery even at Christmas time.
She goes mental whenever this toy comes out! I've tried many many similar toys and she gets bored after a few minutes but this one holds her attention fully
Great at last a long pole but it is not very stable will not hold long, advice make the pole more stable maybe a bit thicker this will do the trick 😁🐾🐾🐾
I got this to top up and order to get the free delivery - little did I know it would become the bane of my life and utter joy for my cats! Three lazy cats leap after this most basic of toys and I've spent my weekend glueing it back together as they all got too excited and destroyed it! For £1.29 I can't fault it. I tried hiding it on a high shelf today whist I was out at work and came home to a semi destroyed living room as the cats had found their way to the top shelf to retrieve it!
although some people said it dosen't last long it is still my cats favourite pole/string toy,i have it months and its falling apart and lost a feather but she loves it, for the price its great, will be buying another one.
My cat Daisy loves this toy .. I definitely recommend you get one if you have a kittie ..
My cat, Oscar, absolutely loves this toy. I did not think much when I bought it and tought he would not show too much interest in it as he often quickly looses interests with his other dangler toys. Not this one! Oscar will cry for this toy and is upset when you take a break from using it. I am very pleased he enjoys this toy so much as he is an indoor cat and I am always trying different toys to keep him entertained. This is certainly a toy that keeps his interest. I have now bought spares when the one I have is knackered as I dare not be without it or I will have one unhappy cat.
I wasn't expecting that much from this toy but our cat goes mad for it - at least when it's new from packet it can look uncannily like a bird in flight when waved around the room. The first one we had did get quite slaughtered after a while - it has just a few feathers left - but have stocked up with the 3 pack as I suspect kitty's enthusiasm will outlast the toy! This also makes a good game when combined with a cat play tunnel - dangling it at the ends or through the hole in the middle.
I just bought a few of these, and was pleased with the improvement on the design. It no longer coils up, because the feathers are attached by a chain now. Awesome toy!
My Ragdoll kitten goes crazy for this - I've never known a cat to get so overexcited over anything! When not in use I keep it in a drawer and he starts huffing and puffing the second he hears the drawer open. He refuses to let go of it once caught and ends up taking me on walks around the house. I will be buying more of these to have in reserve for when it inevitably gets destroyed. One of the best cat toys I've ever bought!
My cat absolutely loves this toy and carries it around with her in her mouth. She will keep it with her and lay on it and take it with her from room to room. She loves the jump around and bite the feather and pull it along with her. It is her most favourite toy ever and she never seems to get bored of it.
Well that's reassuring, I wrote to zooplus on their online form mentioning how my feather bit fell off the pole within 20 mins of use, and didnt bother sending a photo and yet they refunded me within an hour. I've bought 3 of the things so hopefully the other two are made of sturdier stuff. But if not it looks like they have a very reassuring policy on such things.
Our cats love this toy! Every time we get it out the cats go crazy for it. The long pole makes it easy to get the cats running around, whilst the feathers are very durable and realistic. Would recommend and is a bargain at the price.
Great fun for quick movers, especially for the price.
My two ragdolls go mad for this, especially my little girl. It flies through the air really well because the string is a lot longer than most so it looks like a bird flying. She jumps up all over the place doing back flips and all sorts! Only downside is the string came off the end but a bit of tape has sorted that, and the string does get tangled in the feathers quite a bit.
They've changed the design of these since last time I got them, my cat would rip them apart within minutes, it's been half an hour and they're all still intact! Something about these particular feathers makes them go wild!
Mylo loves this so much more than ANY other dangler pole toy, I have had to glue it together however but as such its solid and I find that much better, and hes happier, Im purchasing a fw more simply for the detachable ends! :D he shreds them in days!
We have a 16 week old Maine Coon kitten & she goes crazy for this toy! She absolutely LOVES it & can't get enough, so much so I have to hide it when I'm not playing with it with her. Please can I ask for anyone buying one of these toys not to leave unattended with your cat as it is v easy for them to get tangled up! She caught her tail & legs up in it causing her to shoot around the house trying to escape, so play with it with them? This is a v robust toy & will really entertain you & your cat!
I recently adopted a rescue cat who is still slightly timid, however when I started playing with her using this toy her fear totally vanished and she went crazy over it! She absolutely loves it to the point I've had to hide it from her when I'm not home!!! This is by far her favourite toy I've brought for her. Its a great quality toy for such a cheap price, I can't recommend this toy enough. So much fun - for her and me! ;)
My cats just adore this pole bird. I cant believe the price, compared to the branded toy on Amazon at £14.00. this is every bit as good. actually the feathers are slightly bigger. My cats go mad and one knows the cupboard we keep it in and tries to get at it. I have reordered several as with 2 Maine Coons they don't last long. not a fault of the quality of the toy just the attention it gets.
Bo has always liked feather toys and not much else....this one has been by far his favourite, I have never seen him jump so high! He stalked it, chased it, tried to eat it (fool). I am not sure it will last long so the quality I yet to be tested but so far both very pleased.
My cat adores this and goes quite nuts when I pull it out. An item that I feel zooplus is missing when it comes to this is a replacement bird for it. Since the pole is likely to survive the mauling the bird gets and it seems a shame to have to buy a whole new pole and junk the old one.
I have tried lots of different toys, this is the first time my cat went crazy over this toy, he loved it. The chase and the cat and bird play was so much fun for him. He was jumping up to get it, running around after it, then pulling it to him to pay with on the floor. The pole attached is long and you also get a second pole to make it longer and the cord is a great length to so it makes it easier for you to play along with them, without interfering too much. Great value, I will be buying more.
I bought this as a single item in the first instance as Doyle loves dangly toys and for us to play with him. Bodie is more self sufficient in the play department, but I'm always on the look out for new toys to keep the boys entertained as they're Bengals. I can say that this was an instant hit with the boys (even Bodie who's not really into dangly toys changed his mind) - both if them were leaping and twirling around the garden after the toy. Yes, it did break; they boys are, large, quite heavy and play hard. First the rubber tip of the elastic came away from the end if the pole, which was remedied by a dab of glue, its demise was when the feathers got pulled out. I see that some reviewers have marked the product down because it came apart, but, as far as I'm concerned, this shows me just how much the boys love it and I have now bought the multi pack so that we've got some spares. PS as I'm writing this, Bodie's dragged the whole toy in to the living room by the feathers and deposited it at my feet. Looks like it's play time.
My lazy cat leapt and dashed around! He loved the feathers and the whizzing sound made by the rod. Downside is that the feathers separated from the rod the first day. He didn't mind, he just carried them around and played with them until they fell to pieces. I'm getting another one! Spare feathers would be a good idea.
Such a great toy. My cats love chasing it - I would imagine they think its an injured bird. The rod is really long, which is ideal and the feathers are good quality - made to last.
