Quality getting poor
Hi! Last year I bought many of them and both my cats loved it! And they worked very long. Nowadays,( 0.5 year), all these I shopped was poor quality. They broke already in first day of use. The glue doesnt hold the stripes and the straw (holding around the wood stick) is rolling off. So pitty! It was before very good and useful toy.

Euphoric effect
Both my cats really like this toy, although their interest in it comes in waves. When they're in the mood, they enthusiastically chew on the hanging fruit, bite the ends of the stick and the bits of straw attached to it, roll around with it, and demand to be scratched on the face with the toy. Contrary to some of the experiences described here by other cat owners, my furballs don't destroy these toys—they just lose interest in them for a while at some point.

The cat was really excited about the wand when we first got it, but the bud came off right away. For a while she wasn't interested in it anymore, but after it was hidden for a bit, she's chewing on it again.
4 stars because of the price, the Trixie version is half the price.

Dangerous string as it comes unstuck
The string around the stick comes off, and since it's quite long but thin, it could be dangerous for a cat. My 6-month-old kitty almost got it wrapped around her like a tourniquet, so be careful! I bought two myself, but I threw away the string and just kept the stick, though it's less appealing that way...

Complete rubbish
Unfortunately, I'm very disappointed. The toy only lasted about 10 minutes with my cat. After that, both tufts at the front and back had already been torn out. On top of that, the rope started to unravel and could pretty much be unwound completely.
For a cat toy in this price range, I would have expected much better quality and durability. As it was, it was basically unusable after just a few minutes. What a shame.
