Trixie Cat Activity Tunnel Feeder

I tried several slow feeders for my cat, who throws up if he eats too fast. Some of them still allowed him to eat fast, others were so complex he just gave up on them. This is the best combination of an engaging toy and a functional slow feeder. We have been using this for a few months now and are still very happy with it.

Very flimsy - cats have easily removed part of the structure (the red one) while trying to get their food and it's not possible to put it back as the plastic is warped and won't fit. Not a product I'd recommend.

Whether it's difficult or not, doesn't matter. I just love it when my two tomcats do more than just stick their heads in bowls and eat. A bit of paw work is a nice bit of activity, I think. It doesn't have to be super hard, like with some other puzzle boards. I also think the quality of the product is good. I got this piece here on offer, but I would have happily paid the regular price too. If you can't be bothered to deal with it, well, you just won't get any dry food… lol

Within a few minutes, my cat figured this out. The meowing out of boredom has stopped. Now she regularly goes over to that thing and fishes out some kibble with her paws. Highly recommended for restless cats.

One of our cats loves eating from this as if it were his food bowl. He prefers this over a regular bowl. But the other cats aren’t such big fans. The quality isn’t great and the top part doesn’t fit properly into its slot. I wish the base was bigger so the cats could eat from the bottom instead of pushing the food onto the floor to eat it. This is his favourite activity toy—we’ve tried other types but this one is great! :)
