Seriously for the price? Don't hesitate. Really cute mouse and indestructible, came out of the wash and spin cycle good as new. Kitty loves it and I spray it with Fellisept Calming Spray at night to help him nod off. Great purchase.
Our Chibi grabbed the mouse right away and started playing on his own! One month later the mouse is still being bit & chased sometimes, although the tail has been missing for a while.
You can't smell the catnip, it's not strong enough. My cats were not really interested unless I throw it around the room, I mite aswell get a sock and throw it around the room lol.
I purchased the pack of 3 so I had a couple round the house ready for when the cats have a mad moment and need to tear in to something that is not my sofa :)
Much smaller than I somehow imagined but my little kitten adores it! He loves small, furry toys that he can carry around and this fits the bill perfectly. Not sure if the catnip has any effect on him since he's a hyper, goofy little monster anyways but either way he just can't leave it alone! Definitely a favourite in his books!
My 10 months old Bengal
cat first didn't pay any special attention to it but afterwards when she rolled all her soft little balls under fridge she started to play with it and since then she loves it,she plays with it like crazy. Don't think that there is any catnip in it because she chewed it and I had to sew it on top and I checked the inside of mouse no catnip so I have no idea why this is catnip related toy...but she still loves it!
Bought one and its monopolized by one of my cats so need to buy more. He just loves it and carries it around in his mouth, he brings it up to bed and panics if he can't find it. Hilarious.
This ickle mouse is soooo cute...Redgie sleeps with it under this paw...it's lovely, another great product for my furry friend(s) from Zooplus. Very, very happy with all the products I've bought from here....Brill!
Calling all cats: Fed up with toys you haven't had for 5 minutes before the glued on eyes or nose come off and you're trying not to choke on them? Or the tail came out when you were carrying it about? or you're getting shouted at for disemboweling it in the first 5 minutes? Then this is the toy for you.
Nose is well glued on. Eyes are embroidered french knots. Ears and paws are sewn in thick fabric that doesn't disintegrate. Whiskers are soft thread instead of those nasty sharp plastic spikes. Tail is a thick plaited thread; perfect for carrying about. Soft furry body doesn't shed when chewed and stands up to claws. Fits neatly under the fridge if you want to keep it safe for later.
Is it person proof? Well it's gone up the hoover on several occasions. Been wrung out and dried on the radiator after I carried it outside and left it in the rain. Been hand-washed after I left it in my food bowl. Survived being stood on by an 18 stone behemoth
Oh and the best thing? - you should see them flinch when you leave it just where they'll get a quick glance.
Go on, spoil yourself, you deserve it
Our Devon Rex just loves these mice and will retrieve them all day if given the option. We throw it, he retrieves it, and if we ignore him, the mouse will be placed on our table, in our pocket, under our pillows, etc.
I don't usually review cat products unless they are outstanding, and this certainly is.
Well made to a very high standard and my cat loved the catnip scent, returning multiple times each play.
It is also a very cute toy in appearance.
I didn't know what my 10 year old rescue was capable of until I got him one of these. He has arthritis so I assumed he wouldn't be very lively but this mouse makes him go wild. He picks it up in his teeth and flings it like a tiny tiger and then runs after it, kicking it like a football. He has quite a few toys including 4 of these mice (one of which is out of action right now as Polo ripped his tail off) and Catnip Mouse, aptly named, is always the first to be lost under the sofa or tv bench, usually resulting in a determined Polo throwing himself under furniture and getting stuck in an attempt to retrieve him. I can't recommend this enough.
Bought this for my two indoor cats and they loved it! They make me laugh so much when they play with! They growl at each other when one of them has it! Excellent, drives them crazy they get great play out of it. Will have to get another one when they've destroyed this one!!
Ok, so this little mouse is called "Ratty" and my fab cat; "Midnight" has now gone through about 20!
He plays & plays with it & also chews it until there is virtually nothing left. He gives it a drink (not good when he also brings it to bed, soaking wet!!), pops it in his food bowl and has even dropped one in a friends handbag, which ended up in a law court!
I buy these in bulk as my boy is not interested in any other of his toys, so Ratty is A1
My 10 year old ginger boy isn't one for toys but he loves this little mouse and spends ages batting it around and pouncing on it! It's very well made and is a good size for him, very similar to that of a real mouse.
My 1 year old siamese loves playing fetch with it and flinging it around the room for hours in the evenings. My 13 year old tabby also plays with it occasionally... Such a great purchase!
