TIAKI Jellyfish Fishing Rod

I don't recommend it, the string fell out of the octopus almost immediately because it wasn't attached very well.

I'll start by saying that my cat went crazy for this toy and its shape, but unfortunately the first time he caught it, it came off the string and started to come apart.

The octopus fell off straight away.

My cat is really picky when it comes to teaser wands, but this one turned out to be a real winner. All the other toys have been forgotten. The only small downside is the quality—after a week of intense catching, biting, and kicking, the jellyfish is pretty frayed. But from the cat’s perspective, this toy is an 11 out of 10. Big plus for the wooden handle, which sometimes also ends up in the kitten’s mouth as he’s teething. We’re trying other wands, but this one still wins the little one’s heart. For a big, heavy cat, it might actually be a bit too delicate.

I unpacked the fishing rod and my two kitten boys were really curious and got very excited about the toy. The long strings made it especially interesting for them. However, they pulled on the jellyfish once and it came off the string. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because the jellyfish is still quite an interesting toy for them even without the rod.

I like the shape and I can see that my cat really likes it too! It doesn’t cost much but it lasts, the string is sturdy and so is the jellyfish underneath, it’s made from 100% fabric and I really appreciate that! (My kitten bites a lot and I don’t want her playing with things that contain plastic and risk her eating it). A little girl came to visit us and now I’m about to get one for her cat too, she fell in love with it! I also have their bowl and the cats seem happy with it, at least as far as I can tell!

It would be great if the string the jellyfish hangs from didn’t come loose from the stick every time I use it. Because of the material, it slips out and isn’t glued on.

My 2-month-old kitten loves it!!! I have several toy wands and this one is her favourite.

Poor quality—our kitten managed to break it on the very first try...
