TIAKI Telescopic Cat Fishing Rod with Feathers

All of my cats love this toy. The handle and pole are sturdy while still being light and the airplane wire means no annoying tanging issues mid play session. The attachment is really popular with my cats as it can rotate while I swing it through the air but the best part about it the toy is that the head is removable so that you can change it out for something else if your cat has other preferences.

Both of my cats love this toy! I bought it for my playful 2 year old cat, but to my surprise, my 17 year old cat wanted to play with it too! I knew I had to give it 5 starts then, I haven't seen her playful in a while. Anyway, I will be ordering more of these!

Extra sturdy. The centre of gravity is closer to the hand than to the toy, so it's not hard to fling it around. Once stretched out, my cat goes crazy. More ergonomic than all the cat teasers I've bought before. It won't happen again that the cat hasn't played enough but I'm already tired.

Our previous rod toy was plastic and was glued, taped and whatever else to keep it together. This new rod is top quality! It’s long, so it’s easy to play across the entire room. The entire thing is metal and is very solid. The attachment it came with lost its feathers in a week (our cats are crazy about feathers) but it’s easy to put on new attachments on, so we can keep playing! All 4 of us love this toy rod! Best price to quality ratio!!!

This feather rod is by far the best one we've tried. The grips and the metal telescope arm are very sturdy, and actually extend to quite a length (I can even sit on the couch and entertain my cat easily with a wide radius). The clip to hook on toys opens easily (for humans, not for cats), not like some other of these rods where it's a pain to exchange the feathers. Very recommended!

Our two cats usually chew right through any string, so those toys don’t last long for us! This one has a sturdy, plastic-coated wire that’s lasted much longer than any of our other toys. Two things that make it only 4 stars instead of 5: 1) The metal bit inside the wooden ball that attaches it to the hook on the toy came out on the first day. 2) The fastener behind the hook gets caught on our rugs, unfortunately, so I covered it with tape to stop it from hurting our cats.

My cat loves this fishing cat toy the most! The rod is really well made and you can extend or retract it without issue. The fishing line seems like some flexible wire, it is durable and not stiff. One of the feathers fell off due to heavy playing after a few weeks. My cat is not a super vicious hunter, but she is big and strong. After playing with the toy almost daily for many months it is still intact. Would give 5/5 if you could buy replacement feather balls. Worth the purchase!

Very good, my cat destroyed it in just a few minutes – it got so slobbery that the feathers stuck together and it barely spun in the air anymore 😂

The extended rod is really long and very easy to handle. Of course, the kitten was immediately interested, but even our shy 6-year-old tomcat got involved. The build quality seems good, but the weakest part is the "bait"—those three feathers. One of them broke straight away, and I'm worried the others will soon follow, so I'll probably have to make my own bait soon.

My cat loves this teaser wand, but of course he immediately broke the three feathers. I'm not giving it the highest rating because the much-advertised option to replace the "fly" would actually be useful—if replacement parts were available!

Apparently I was lucky, because both rods are still in top condition (bought about 4 months ago and played with daily), BUT the danglers! They break quickly or even arrive broken. Why aren’t there any replacement danglers?? That’s not sustainable. Please change this, selling them in packs of 3 would also make you money.

The thread doesn't screw onto the telescopic rod, it doesn't stay on at all. Product has a manufacturing defect.

The springs themselves broke quickly, after just a few play sessions. The rod itself broke after a month. At the same time, our cat really liked the wand and it was great that it could be folded up.

This was really fun for Mjauritz but it broke after maybe five days. :/

Ringo loves this one! He turns into a 14-year-old kitten when you pull it away from him, and he runs after it, hunts, and jumps.

I ordered two fishing rods and both broke quickly. One snapped in the middle, and with the second one, the connection between the metal rods came loose. Really disappointing.

Excellent toy, the telescopic stick is long, and the string is literally untangleable (at least I haven’t had any problems with it getting tangled so far). The cats love the toy and go wild playing with it. The only downside is that there’s no easy mechanism to change the feather attachment. But I suppose that’s intentional, because otherwise you’d never buy the toy again, just swap out different feather attachments. Of course, you can always MacGyver your way around this.

A metal and really high-quality toy wand, but there are no replacement heads for sale. 🤯 These feather toys don’t last long with a cat, but the quality and durability of the wand itself would last for years. It doesn’t make much sense to make a durable wand if you can’t offer replacement feather parts for it??? You don’t really want to buy a whole new wand every time the feather part gets torn off. It’s a different story with those €3-4 plastic wands you can just keep buying again. The cats absolutely loved it, but if you can’t get a new feather part, the fun is short-lived!

Our Maine Coons have already broken 3 fishing rods so far... we’ll soon need a 10-pack subscription... it's the ultimate toy for cats 👌💯

My cat almost never plays with the toys I buy for him, especially fishing rod toys. But he took to this one straight away. A real success!

I now have 3 of these. The rod itself is sturdy, the line is a thin wire. The range is great. Unfortunately, one rod was broken right out of the box (the connection between the rod and the wire) – there’s a thread, but glue is the only thing that helps. The feathers break easily because they’re glued tightly into the ball. Unfortunately, I can’t find any replacement attachments here.
