Great fun to play

My cat loves the Nutri Bites! They're perfect as a little treat in between meals and are really popular in our house. The size is practical and you can easily give them while playing or as a small reward. I like that my cat takes to them so well. We'll definitely buy them again!

The cats love it

One of our ragdolls refuses to eat malt paste, but loves treats. I was a bit worried when I read the negative reviews, but she might actually like this even more than the previous version. I’ll keep buying it regularly from now on.

Loes is delighted!

Our old lady also likes a treat, but unlike her younger brothers, she can't eat hard sweets anymore. I break these into pieces and she eats them with gusto. She even gets out of her warm bed for them, which she rarely does. It also seems to help her go to the toilet a bit better, so that's a nice bonus. But the most important thing is that she can enjoy them. A good lick of coconut oil every three days helps with the rest ;)

I hope the previous version comes back

Unfortunately, this version is much worse in appearance, taste, and effectiveness. Even though I manage to sneak them in, they don’t work as well as the previous ones and I have to buy a different product.

No success

Despite several attempts, my kitty completely refused to eat them.

We regret the change

My Maine Coon loved the old version, at first he ate this one too, but now he refuses to. I’m sorry about the change, I really needed this product, especially since he doesn’t like the paste either.

Hair remover

My Maine Coon loves this, just like the previous version. The only issue is that maybe the active ingredient is a bit low – I give him the recommended amount, but sometimes he still coughs because of hairballs, so I have to give him more. Apart from that, it's a great product and I can recommend it.

Strange shape & apparently don't taste good

Unfortunately, the regular GimCat malt tabs are no longer available here, so I ordered these as an alternative. The shape is very strange, and unfortunately my cat won't eat them at all.

Unwelcome change

My cat used to love the old tablets, he would pounce on them. With this new formula, not so much. He eventually eats it, but without any excitement, even the smell doesn’t attract him anymore. They’re very/too hard, so if your cat has sensitive teeth, best to avoid... Shame, going back to the previous version would be much better!

The change has clearly been for the worse.

He used to eat it before, but now with the change in shape and formula he doesn’t even want to look at it. The pieces are too big and sharp, which could cause choking. I have to break them up and even then he won’t touch them; the new recipe doesn’t appeal to him at all. I don’t understand why they have to change something that works.

Changed for the worse

Unfortunately, the product has completely changed. My Brits used to happily eat the old Malt tablets, but they won’t even go near these... :(

The new 2026 formula

My cats used to go crazy for the malt tablets from the old formula, but they’re not keen on the hairball paste. Ever since they changed the shape and formula, they won’t touch it anymore.

Well, I expected better

The snacks are very large and pressed like tablets, and my tomcat finds them totally uninteresting. With a lot of effort, I managed to sneak him a single piece, but only because I broke it up into small bits, mixed it with other snacks, and gave it to him alternately. Now he won’t touch it anymore. Such a shame, I expected more. Now I’ve got a whole bag left… It’s a bit annoying that there aren’t any sample packs with small sachets.

Great new product!

The GimCat Nutri Malt Bites are a great new product and my cats absolutely love them straight away. GimCat always delivers really fantastic snacks and tabs, and the functional benefits make things even more interesting. The combination of taste and function is especially good here – a clear recommendation!
