No idea if it helps prevent hairballs but not the reason I bought it. Taste wise it's well accepted by all my six cats. Expensive so this really is an occasional treat, rotating among several other brands.

I have tried many different Miamor Pastes (Kitten-Cream, Liverwurst-Cream, Malt-Cream with Cheese) to get away from the stick treats, but still have a snack handy. I always cut the sticks into little pieces for Clickertraining and to give a nicer reward than just dry food. I tend to forget how many strips I make out of a stick and before you know it they're all gone! I especially like the varieties of flavours which all hit the spot for my fussy British Short Hair. The smell is inoffensive and the consistency seems good for licking. The best thing about these treats are that they have managed to cure the stomach problems she has had since she was little. Might not be related but she likes the taste and I say 5 stars!

I can't believe it. My two female cats love all kinds of pastes, but my almost 10 year old Birma Cat tends to ignore all things like that. However he came of his own accord to try out this paste. I can't believe my luck, because it means I can easily give him medicine should I ever have to.

Having suffered almost 12 years with an OCD overgroomer who pulls his fur out in clumps we were delighted to find this product that he eagerly laps up and that worked from day one! Gave it to him in the evening and the next morning there was no hacking cough, no retching, nothing! Fantastic. Previously used Katalax but hated the mess, and this one we just serve on a dish which he licks clean in seconds. Highly recommend, and so glad we found this!

I'm being a bit premature with this review as I don't know whether the paste is actually effective at helping him with hairballs yet. However at the moment I am just pleased he will at least eat it! (seems to like it a lot) - he has so far refused gimpet malt paste, beaphar malt paste and two other kinds of fur ball paste from the local pet shop.

My cat absolutely loves this and asks for it every day, but unfortunately she is still bringing up hairballs at least twice a week. I'll keep buying it though, because shes very fussy and turns her nose up at all other treats, including real meat and fish!

My two cats are absolutely crazy about this. They almost snatch it out of my hands to get started. They just love it! :) They also react the same way to the green variety with vegetables in it!

These are the only malt products that my cats are happy to eat.

Unfortunately, my cat with a food allergy, even though he loves them, can't have these because they trigger his allergy... It's a shame the ingredients list doesn't specify what kind of meat is included....

My cat's favourite treat until now.. In one package, there are expiry dates 09/05/2028 and 10/05/2028. The one with the 10th date makes my cat run away, but he eats the one with the 9th date just like before – can someone explain what's going on?

I have 8 cats and they all love the malt cream. One of my cats, a 14-year-old female, used to vomit frequently, but that doesn't happen anymore. I give her one sachet a day.

My cats love the malt cream and I use it to add the internal deworming tablet every 3 months. Very effective against hairballs. I highly recommend it!

Even our very picky cat loves her daily Malt cream. She can be a bit shy and reserved, but when it's time for Malt cream, she comes running.

It must taste good too because they eat it up in no time.
