I have a cat with CKD and one without, and both refuse to touch these nibbles, which is a pity as it's difficult finding something a cat with CKD can have as a treat.

I was so sad at the thought that I couldn't give my little senior kidney patient any "cookies" anymore, until my vet's office recommended these. WOW. I was totally unprepared for how big of a hit these were going to be! She has always loved her treats, but now when she hears the bag she turns into a teeny kitten again and gets so excited she shakes and chirps while waiting for me to get them open. Never thought a treat would bring this amount of joy out of my 15 year old dainty little lady!

It's great that there are treats made specifically for renal health. My cat likes them. I wish there were more varieties.

My 15-year-old cat with kidney failure loves it, and it works great for us because, when her appetite isn’t at its peak, we can mix it with her wet food and she ends up finishing her meal. Another non-renal kitty also asks for them as treats, so they must taste good to them ;)

He gets this as a reward after taking his Renal treatment. It’s clear that I’ll have to order again soon. That’s because Royal Canin Age 12+, my extremely fussy cat’s favourite, is no longer being made.
