Hill's Prescription Diet Feline t/d Dental Care - Chicken - cat dry food

Our cat had some teeth removed in 2017. Our vet recommended hills prescription diet feline t/d dental care to prevent further tooth decay and plaque. Had his yearly check last week and the vet said there is no plaque, his teeth are healthy and he will not need another dental. Excellent.

this product is great and its even better that I do not have to go out of my way to get this great product for my cats.

This food really does work at keeping your cats teeth clean; my vet thought I brushed my cats teeth when he gave him his annual check up but I told him no, he eats t-d, so it really does the job. Both my cats love it.

Bought this for my cat who is very prone to plaque and gingivitis. It worked really well, and his oral hygiene really improved. He also seems to love the taste.

This is a very good food. Many of our cats have used it. When our old cat starting having tooth trouble we started mixing T/D with her other food, and she started chewing properly again. Now we only have two cats and they get this from the very start. They usually pick out the T/D chunks and eat them first, because they're so yummy! And none of our cats who eat this have ever had a tooth problem again.

Our 3 year old cat's annual check up last year found she had mild gingivitis from plaque. The vet advised us to use this food, but unfortunately when we tried them our cat went on a hunger strike rather than eat them. After a couple of weeks we tried again though, and suddenly our cat decided to eat it! A few weeks ago we had another annual check up and happily his teeth are just fine now! Sometimes it takes a bit of effort to make him eat them, but this food is definitely a must!

To maintain healthy gums and clean teeth is absolutely essential. However, do not serve this food alone and it would not be a complete diet. I usually mix 20% of this with the normal kibble. From kittens with the change of milk teeth to seniors of 10 years, TD is irreplaceable for keeping teeth and gums healthy!

Our vet recommended this feed to us for protecting and cleaning cat's teeth. We mix it with another dry food because TD contains a lot of fat. Her teeth and weight both seem good and we save a lot of money because we buy it at zooplus instead of at the vet. Fast delivery and it's always in stock.

We've been giving this dry food for a good few years to our 2 cats (8 and 9 years). We were recommended this by the vet to 'descale' the teeth. The shapes of the kibble means that the cats can't swallow them whole. forcing them to chew their food and clean their teeth! The younger cat has never had problems with her teeth, but she's been having this as a preventative measure anyway, so maybe that's why her teeth are so good :)

Our cat has suffered from inflamed gums since childhood. On the advice of the vet we feed her T/D, and the chunks help her to chew properly which scrubs her gums clean. She's been eating this food for about 3.5 years now and her teeth look very nice. No more inflamed gums, and beautiful white teeth. In addition she seems to find the food pretty tasty, too!

Since our 13 year old cat has been on this diet, she's had much healthier looking teeth with less tartar. Her teeth have become really white. I mix them sometimes with other foods, because she's used to having variety.

Reduced the tartar on our cat’s teeth, in my opinion it’s worth it :)

My cat, a 10-year-old British Shorthair, used to get tartar on her teeth because she wouldn’t chew the regular kibble, which is very small. With this kibble, which she takes the time to crunch because it’s bigger, the problem is solved.

Tested these kibbles to get an older cat to chew and stop throwing up after every meal... mission accomplished. And surprise, the two kittens also prefer these kibbles... I recommend them.

Our cat absolutely loves it, and now that the weather’s warmer, she’s scoffing it down. She’s tried other dry food too, but this one seems to be her absolute favourite.

My 14-year-old cat finds the kibble so hard that she just doesn’t chew them anymore and swallows them whole. I ended up giving them to a friend, and her cat also found them rock hard and did exactly the same thing. Really annoying, because they’re supposed to be chewed properly to help get rid of tartar.

Started using this on the vet’s recommendation. After a year of use, it turns out surgery is no longer necessary. Make sure to stick to the recommended dosage. The cats did gain a bit of weight at first, but that was sorted out after adjusting the dosage.

Simply no, all three cats got diarrhoea, you don’t need to explain that the food’s ingredients are really bad. I was only supposed to give it because of their teeth. Straight in the bin!
