Hill's Prescription Diet Feline m/d Diabetes Care - Chicken - cat dry food

Overall good at least my cat eat it. Hi is very picky hard to feed them.

It's the only food that keeps my diabetic cat in good health.

We began feeding this when our cat became diabetic through being very overweight. She lost weight quickly and even though an old lady she seems more spry. The vet said her blood sugar was down and we're going the right way. Puss likes the kibble food but not the tins so much. Our other cat will happily eat the kibble too.

After two weeks on this diet my cat has lost a healthy amount of weight and has no more symptoms of diabetes (such as excessive thirst and urination). I give it in small bowls and they eat it happily, none of them have refused it. My two overweight diabetic cats are now healthy weight cats with their diabetes under control!

Hill M/D was prescribed by my vet for our 13 year old obese cat. The other cat (11 years old) also like to eat it. It's been very successful with the older one whose blood tests are now much better. I have been giving him smaller portions to help with weight loss and it seems to be going well.. The zooplus price is great and home delivery is very handy.

Hills prescription can be excellent, and we've found this one is very good for our young Maine Coon. My other cats get normal Hills cat food, but this one put on a lot of weight, and the vet recommended this specialty diet for him. Now he's back to 6.5kg and is doing ok.

We have 2 Burmese, both with chronic pancreatitis, so both of them eat Feline I/D food, and they seem very happy with it. Also it is nice that we can buy it here at zooplus, as it is much cheaper than at the vet.

My cat was suffering from diarrhoea caused by the corona virus, and Hills M/D is the only food which doesn't cause further diarrhoea. We had no improvement with RC Fibre, so Hill's is our favourite now!

This food is simply wonderful! No more vomiting, and before this food she would always vomit after eating. It was quite impossible for her to digest some foods and kibble sizes, but she also had problems with wet foods. And believe me, it is not easy to find the right food for your diabetic cat! With this food, she chews them slowly and eats more food overall. And within the first month she had lost some excess weight, which is great because she was getting quite bulky before! We've done a few tests since she started this diet and her diabetes has improved, so it seems that it's doing the trick :)

Despite my efforts, it's impossible to get my cats to eat these kibbles. I bought one bag for diabetic cats and another for sterilised cats from Hill's, but even with five cats, none of them want it. Given the price of the bags, I hate to throw them away. It would be a good idea to offer smaller packs to try out first.
