Josera Senior - cat dry food

All 10 of my rescue cats (indoor with access to outdoor any time) love the Josera senior kibbles. My youngest is 4 and my oldest nearly 12. Most have special needs and sensitive digestion. Josera kibbles reduce vomiting thankfully 🥰

For a long time, I gave my cats super-premium kibble with a high protein content. And I was surprised that the two shelters where I got my cat and tomcat feed them Josera. Why? It's not exactly cheap, and the ingredients?!? But as the cats got older, some started having digestive issues, and with one tomcat I suspected kidney problems. To make matters worse, this tomcat doesn't tolerate even a short visit to the vet. I tried Josera Senior kibble – and it helps, I've been buying it for over a year now!

We've been using Josera Nature for 7 years now and my tomcats absolutely love it! It's the one food that always goes down well and they've always tolerated it perfectly. That's why we keep ordering it again and again.

My cat likes them. As for his kidneys, there hasn't been any improvement in his blood test 15 days after the first check-up. It's probably a bit too soon to say.

The manufacturer did not indicate on the packaging that the food has a new formula. My cat, who has an extreme intolerance to fish protein, developed serious digestive problems and ended up being hospitalised. I discovered by accident that the food now contains salmon oil, which has always caused her very strong inflammatory reactions. Any changes to the formula should be clearly marked on the packaging. I didn't think to check the ingredients every time—I trusted this food as it had always been safe and reliable before.

Dry food that my cat always enjoys and is also healthy. I've been buying Josera food for a while now.

Switching over was easy. The smell is much better than my previous kibble. Whether it's actually better for my cat, I don't know. Just started using it. Xo

This is the food my cats absolutely love. They like the Senior variety the most, so I always order the big 10 kg bag.

My gourmet tomcat (13) loves it. It smells nice and fresh, and the ingredients are great. However, my cat is a bit of a glutton and it doesn’t really fill him up. That’s why I recommend soaking it in warm water. It also has the advantage that the dry food doesn’t swell up so much in the stomach. Still, I’ll be switching to Josera Leger. He can eat more of that because it has a lower energy content and it fills his tummy better. But for “normal”, active cats, I can highly recommend it.

My cats love it and their kidney stones haven’t come back since they’ve been on it.
