New Recipe! 400g
Not a good change in recipe
All my 11 Rescue cats aged 1 to 14 years loved the original recipe. And never vomited from it. Unfortunately with a new recipe things changed not for the better. They are not as eager anymore and a few of them have vomited already after eating it. I wish it would be changed back to the original recipe.

Disappointing Reformulation – Lower Quality, Higher Costs
This product was a premium 5-star food, but the new recipe is a clear downgrade. They slashed the fish oil from 9% to 4%, replaced healthy sweet potato with cheap peas (using "splitting" to hide the volume), and removed essential joint supplements like Glucosamine and Chondroitin. It’s no longer a top-tier product, just a basic mid-range one for the same price.

Disappointing formula and kibble size change
My cat used to absolutely wolf down this food but since the formula change and change of kibble size she won’t touch it. Can’t understand why you would make the kibble bigger, it’s like dog food now, very disappointed and won’t be repurchasing.

Strong odor

Mouldy!!!
Expensive product that I was forced to directly throw in the bin right after the opening: it had a terrible smell and was very humid despite it was never exposed to heat/humidity of any kind (I opened it 5 days after receiving it and keeping it in a dark, dry storage as any other package of cat food. First time experiencing this issue).

They changed size of a kibble
My cats used to love it so much untill one day the bag came in with bigger and more rough looking kibbles. They struggled to eat it crunch it and when they tried to swallow they choked. I stopped bying it. Such a pity as before it was brilliant product and even suitable for kittens but not anymore.

Great quality cats love it
Fantastic quality my 2 cats absolutely love purizon especially fish flavour the 6.5kg worth the money it lasts ages and works out cheaper than buying the smaller bags and with proper seal at top of bag keeps the food fresh

Cat food for the birds.
Sadly I have found this product is upsetting my cats digestion. The reaction to it is that of choking. It seems to get stuck until they cough it through or throw it up and this is hours later. There is plenty of water to be had and trust me they drink it, but they don’t have the reaction to other dry foods that they are having with this. I’ll not buy this brand again as I have stopped and tried again with it a couple of times and the reaction is the same. It’s definitely this food. I’ve 6 cats.

An Inconsistent Product
We have two Siberians that have been fans of Purizon's adult fish flavour for the last year. Unfortunately the manufacturer seems to change the ingredient mix from time to time. They both (independently and immediately) turned their noses at our most recent order of 5kgs (across two separate bags). They might be picky, but the most recent batch had no fish smell to their owners' noses. Not reliable, really disappointed that we can longer confidently purchase this product.
Excellent food for my 2 bengals
This is the only food my two Bengal cats will eat. One of my cats is prone to digestive problems and this is the only food I have found that doesn’t upset his stomach. They both have exceptionally shiny coats and I believe it is because of the high quality ingredients.

Cats won't eat it but unlikely the product.
I am not really sure how to rate this product as I am sure it is not the product's fault my cats won't eat it. They have eaten a few of the other Purizon flavours and never had an issue. They really seem to dislike this one for some reason. Our Maine Coon is not fussy and eats everything but refuses to eat this. The smaller kitty won't eat it either. We gave it to our neighbours whose cats ate it, so no idea what's wrong with ours. They like fish, just not dried fish flavoured cat food I guess!

It took a while but our Burmese happily munch away now..

Our Burmese appreciate their previous cat food now :( I suppose the over-powering smell of herring is too much for them. Wish I would have bought three-flavours instead.
Needs to be in a resealable bag
Although my cats really seem to like this I have only given it stars 4 stars as I think it really should be in a resealable bag to keep it fresh. I have a large plastic box and can only get half of the large bag in. I would buy two smaller bags, but obviously this works out more expensive.
Simply the best dry food!
I have tried my 4 on all the top dry food brands (Orijen, Acana, Applaws etc) & they haven't been a hit all round. I was skeptical about Purizon as the ingredients are similar to some listed above but I was VERY wrong-all flavours are loved by all. The protein (and also potato) content is quite high but I will accept this for a quality brand they all love - I can finally move away from the dreaded Royal Canin!! Thanks Purizon - you have signed me up as a regular customer. Very happy indeed.
Stinky fish drops
We call these stinky fish drops as they smell like old fish left on the harbour for a morning. My cats, who normally do not enjoy dried food, absolutely love these. Delicious. Maybe like the cat version of garum (a stinky rotten fish sauce the Romans enjoyed)
Fantastic product
My 1 year old cat loves this food and it is good to know she is getting quality food with a high meat content . I weight the food out to make sure I dont over feed as so little is needed and as soon as she hears the packet rustle she appears! I definitely recommend this to other owners wanting a high quality brand .

I recently decided to get my cats the best quality dry for. I went for AATU 85/15 but my spoilt fur babies did not like it so I tried Purizon and the 3 of them absolutely love it. I would happily recommend it to anyone interested in giving their cat great nutrition that cats love

Disastrous change
I've had to stop buying Purizon cat food after the latest change in its formula. Both my cats started getting dandruff in their fur, which had never happened before. Plus, they didn't eat it with as much enthusiasm as they used to. Trying to cut costs at the expense of our pets is a really bad move. I've switched to ND by Farmina to see how it suits them, and so far they're eating it happily.

Why change a good team
I bought Purizon Fish because it had a good recipe and didn’t contain that cursed yucca. Now, from the very first serving, my cat has had diarrhoea and vomiting. The previous formula was much better. It’s a shame I bought 6.5kg—now it’ll go in the bin, and for over two years she ate it with no problems. Shame on the manufacturer.

I was disappointed because I bought them practically without looking, just to try all the flavours after getting the first ones. No longer being eaten
I had the same experience as Nicole. My cats loved it and devoured it. Then I bought a new bag and since then, neither of my cats will touch it anymore.
