Avoid… regularly out of stock!!!
This is actually a great food… but the problem is it is never in stock. Since it’s only available on zooplus, it is a real problem when they run out. Cats don’t do well digestively when switching foods which needs to be done gradually.
So better to transition to another more widely available kitten food permanently if you are using this, or risk having issues with it constantly being out of stock.
Or better still… just don’t start using this food with your kitten!

It took a while but our Burmese happily munch away now..
Sorry, our cats aren't impressed..
Our Burmese appreciate their previous cat food now :( I suppose the over-powering smell of herring is too much for them. Wish I would have bought three-flavours instead.
The best kitten food you will ever find for both taste & quality
My cats usually turn their food up at high content meat/grain free dry such as Applaws/Orijen but Purizon is scoffed down in seconds.
All of my adult cats steal the kitten's food because they prefer it to theirs so I'm now having to buy kitten food for 9 year olds!! EXCELLENT product all round.
Needs to be in a resealable bag
Although my cats really seem to like this I have only given it stars 4 stars as I think it really should be in a resealable bag to keep it fresh. I have a large plastic box and can only get half of the large bag in. I would buy two smaller bags, but obviously this works out more expensive.
Simply the best dry food!
I have tried my 4 on all the top dry food brands (Orijen, Acana, Applaws etc) & they haven't been a hit all round. I was skeptical about Purizon as the ingredients are similar to some listed above but I was VERY wrong-all flavours are loved by all. The protein (and also potato) content is quite high but I will accept this for a quality brand they all love - I can finally move away from the dreaded Royal Canin!! Thanks Purizon - you have signed me up as a regular customer. Very happy indeed.
Stinky fish drops
We call these stinky fish drops as they smell like old fish left on the harbour for a morning. My cats, who normally do not enjoy dried food, absolutely love these. Delicious. Maybe like the cat version of garum (a stinky rotten fish sauce the Romans enjoyed)
Fantastic product
My 1 year old cat loves this food and it is good to know she is getting quality food with a high meat content . I weight the food out to make sure I dont over feed as so little is needed and as soon as she hears the packet rustle she appears! I definitely recommend this to other owners wanting a high quality brand .

I recently decided to get my cats the best quality dry for. I went for AATU 85/15 but my spoilt fur babies did not like it so I tried Purizon and the 3 of them absolutely love it. I would happily recommend it to anyone interested in giving their cat great nutrition that cats love
My cats have stopped vomiting!! Hooray!!!!!!
I have tried every dried cat diet under the sun after giving up on wet foods to try and find a solution to their vomiting. I have 4 cats and 2 of them vomit every single day - and then I tried Purizon. It has stopped! I cannot tell you how happy that makes me!!!!! All 4 cats enjoy Purizon too.
Purizon fish and chicken
Both my cats love this food and so do I although not actually tasted it myself! I feed wet food and dry as cats need moisture in their food and they went off J W B . Would be good in a low fat variety as one cat in on the tubby side .

Quality has dropped
The kibble used to smell nice, but the new recipe stinks. I usually soften the kibble with water, and these ones start to smell really bad. I don’t have these problems with N&D and Carnilove. I’ve given up on Purizon and now mainly buy Carnilove. On paper, the recipe might not be as good, but when you actually have the kibble in your hand, you realise Carnilove is cheaper, smells better, and my cat prefers it.

I don't like the packaging
I chose it because of its ingredients, and my puppy eats it really well, but removing the zip from the packaging is a step backwards. The food stays much fresher with a good seal on the bag, and they've removed it from the adult range too. For me, it's a big inconvenience having to look for different storage options instead of using the original packaging. I've bought it again, but I'll look at other options for my next purchase.

Good but smelly stools
My two kittens love these kibbles, but after switching from the Purina One they used to have, they've been having gas and really smelly poos! It's pretty unbearable—I have to change the litter all the time and keep the house aired out constantly. Their poos are well-formed, but the smell is just too much...

Too many carbohydrates
Purizon Kitten Chicken and Fish used to be a good food before they changed the recipe.
Previously, it had 19.8% carbohydrates, now it's 28.9%!
When I asked for a statement, I received a standard reply.
When I followed up and asked if someone could please explain why fresh meat and chicken proteins were removed and replaced with carbohydrates that cats can't digest, like peas and potatoes, I unfortunately didn't get any further response.

New formula?
The kitten kibble smells (stinks!) much worse now. The cats aren’t really into it anymore either. The taste/smell seems to be in some sort of coating on the kibble now instead of mixed through? The pieces are too small to really see, but with the adult kibble it’s definitely the case, and that also stinks a lot more. The cats are much less enthusiastic about it, so I guess I’ll have to look for another brand again… Such a pity!

As a cat food manufacturer/distributor, it should be obvious that cats are VERY sensitive to changes in their food/recipe – what’s the point of this?

Quality Kibble
These are really high-quality kibbles and just perfect for my grown-up kittens. I wanted to start giving them different ones for neutered cats, but they weren’t as good, so now I’ve ordered Purizon ones for neutered cats as well. We’ll see how those go... Tragedy
Purizon foods used to be my cats’ favourites, especially the fish one. After the recipe changed, my cats barely touch it, and on top of that, one of them developed a terrible skin allergy that we just can’t get rid of. These foods definitely won’t end up in my basket ever again 😢
