Too hard

I bought this for my cats who are over 10 years old. Although they were interested in eating it, I noticed that after a few kibbles they stopped eating and remained hungry. I saw that they can't break the kibbles – and they have healthy teeth. After a few pieces, they get frustrated with how much effort it takes to bite through them. I crushed some to make it easier for them to eat and confirmed that they're really hard. I had to buy a different range so they could eat properly.

Product to avoid

My two cats had been eating the sterilised cat food (7+) for several years without any problems. We recently switched to this new version (11+). But every time we gave it to them, they would vomit. We stopped giving them these kibbles, and the vomiting stopped. We then tried again to check if the problem really came from there, and the vomiting started again. So we decided to throw away the rest of the bag...

An unfortunate change decided by Royal Canin

The previous Ageing kibbles, the soft cushions, were amazing. The current 11+ and 15+ versions are not better at all. None of my 7 cats will touch them. And they're even more expensive. Maybe the manufacturer will go back to the filled cushions.

Disappointing

After reading all the positive reviews, I thought I’d give this a try for my 11.5-year-old cat who has dental issues and often diarrhoea. I have to say… the diarrhoea was solved with this food, but at what cost… my cat ended up with really hard stools after eating these kibbles. It stuck to her bottom, so you can imagine: everywhere she went and tried to wipe it off, it got spread around… So, for my cat, this was definitely not a success!
