Cairo Cat Tree

Our old cat tree lasted less than a year with our 10 cats, so we wanted something with no cardboard and with washable cushions. The Ankara cat tree looks sturdy and very stylish and so far our cats love it 😸 It was reasonably easy to put together, too.

This is the second Modern Living cat tree I've bought. They're the only ones I've found that are stable, sturdy, practical, and look great. No other trees I've seen let you wash the little mats, which is a definite plus. Only one issue: there was a 3mm gap between the left and right columns, so it was impossible to attach the last top piece. Disappointing given the price, but it was easily fixed with some strong cardboard to fill the gap.

Best cat tree on zooplus. No smelly materials. The platforms are made of MDF and the rest is solid wood. When unpacking, it smelled a bit sour but the smell was gone after a day. Super stable!!! No wobbling! The bottom platform sits firmly on the floor and the weight is well distributed! Our kittens love it. Probably a bit small for Maine Coon cats, but otherwise perfect for 2 cats. Very easy to assemble.

Maybe the best purchase when it comes to cat trees! Really sturdy and perfect for big cats. The two open sides of the box mean our cats actually like hanging out in it, even though they never want to go into the boxes of other cat trees.
