The cardboard ones were leaving flitters everywhere and looked quite tatty so I thought I'd try this one.
Thankfully Miss Madam had her claws into it before I'd even finished pulling the plastic wrap off. She's actually using all parts of it too which is surprising.

lovely product
well made, good quality. Even comes with small bag of catnip. Our cat is not to crazy about it, but she always preferred curtains :) so not really fault of that product.

Cats simply will not use it.
I bought this over two years ago now. One cat has not touched it and the other has used it half a dozen times. Several months ago, I had a parcel delivered. Both cats LOVE jumping in the cardboard box and sharpening there claws in it! I now always keep an empty box in the living room for them. It is a bit messy with bits of cardboard all over the floor but the cats love it and that is all that matters!! I also have a mat (well actually a free carpet sample!) in the hall and cats use it for scratching too!! So all in all the Scratch Wave was a waste of money!!!

Good scratch post for £11
I just wanted a cheap scratch post for the kitchen thinking that it would be used very little. My male cat adores this thing and sits on top clawing away, my female is not to keen and will only use it if copious amounts of catnip are used. I personally think that this scratch post is great for the price and would recommend it for cats and kittens alike - but ultimately it's down to your cats preference.

Don't like it
I ordered this in addition to a larger tower (we have several scratching posts of different styles throughout the house). The cats are not interested for some reason.
It does look very nice.

seemed a good idea
My 2 cats have always had the traditional post scratching post and I thought this would be even better. Unfortunately, a year later the small post is in shreds but the top wave untouched. Cannot get them to scratch on this.

Cat scratching post
The scratching post is really nice and well made. Not too big, just right. The cat is happy.
