zooplus Basics Scratch Protector for Table Legs

Unfortunately, this product was a big disappointment. I used to have the IKEA version, so I thought this would be similar, but sadly it's nothing like it. The legs on my new table are a bit thinner, and this mat is just huge for them. The biggest problem is that the Velcro doesn't have any tightening function at all, so you can't adjust it to fit the legs or make it tighter. It's only good for a certain, really thick leg diameter—on furniture with thinner legs, it's completely useless and just slips off.

I've had it for a year and my cats are very happy to use it.

Very small, unstable, impossible to grip

Sturdy and highly scratch-resistant. Admittedly, I’m not currently using it around a leg or post as intended, but rather as an extra vertical scratching surface in the Verona cat tree; I just slid the ends between the slats and it fits and stays in place with surprising precision, as if it was made for it. I immediately ordered another one to keep for the future—the whole concept of such a flexible scratching mat that you don’t have to screw in is fantastic.

Worked well on the posts of the scratching tree. The size is perfect. For very little money, I basically have a brand new scratching post. Highly recommend.

After I couldn’t find any suitable replacement posts for my cat tree, these mats turned out to be the perfect, affordable solution. When pulled tight, they fit up to an original circumference of 25 cm.

It looks really good quality-wise, and the colour is nice too. But it’s too wide and too short for a table leg. Plus, it doesn’t have any mechanism to adjust it to the thickness of the leg. So it’s not useful for me.
