GranataPet Liebling's Mahlzeit 6 x 800g - dog wet food

I've been using Granatapet for quite some time now. I used to buy the salmon and turkey variety for my French bulldog, but he wasn't gaining any weight. So I switched to the Angus and pumpkin one, which my dog really likes. His stools are great and it's very easy to digest. I have to say, over time I've noticed some changes in the wet food's composition—it now seems more compact and less fatty. The only downside: once I found a splintered piece of bone inside the can! Very dangerous!

1. The food smells like anything but meat; it's getting more and more low-quality. It's hard to believe what's on the packaging is actually inside. 2. The worst part: in one can, I found three sharp poultry bone splinters. Luckily, I always chop everything up—who knows if we would have ended up at the vet otherwise. Sloppy work and the cheapest ingredients—unfortunately, I won't be buying this again. The product was bought at Futterhaus Vaihingen/Enz—but whatever.

The product has actual chunks of fat and fat in the food, the whole food is very hard. I (unfortunately) still gave it to my dog. After a while, he vomited everything up and you could see the fat in the vomit. He had to throw up 4 times within an hour and a half until only liquid came out. I definitely won’t be buying this food again.

I have been feeding GranataPet for many years, used to feed it to my cat too. Over the past two years, the food has gotten more and more expensive, and the quality of the beef has gotten worse. As you can see, it’s mostly fat now, especially at the bottom—there are loads of fat lumps. My dog has also had loud stomach noises and softer stools every few days for months now. Has the food been changed?! I definitely won’t buy the beef anymore. Disappointing! Where can I upload photos???
