Herrmann's Organic Pure Meat Saver Pack 24 x 400g - dog wet food

Big warning! My cats, who usually eat anything, won't touch this food. Cats know what's good for them. I later read that it's supposed to be for dogs as well. I ordered quite a lot in different flavours, but now I'm going to give it all to a homeless person for his dog.

My dog and also my friend's dog got sick after eating that food. They had really bad diarrhoea. I don't know what's wrong with it, but it's definitely not good for dogs with sensitive stomachs or those allergic to chicken. Waste of money.

An unbeatable value for money when you realise these only contain meat (which is the most expensive part), and it's organic, unlike complete food tins. As explained, you really do need to add vegetables to make sure your pet gets enough minerals—these alone aren’t enough. For those surprised by the smell of the stools, it’s the proteins that cause the strong odour, so nothing unusual for cats :)

My dog is incredibly fussy when it comes to wet food. I’ve tried all sorts of pouches, tins, and pâtés, but nothing I bought ever suited his tastes. He’d often leave his food unfinished, but these tins are a different story – not only does he clear his bowl, he actually polishes off the whole tin in less than five minutes! When it’s feeding time, his ears even start to wiggle with excitement. I’m genuinely delighted and would definitely recommend this to everyone ☺️

It took her a bit longer to accept it because it’s more expensive. I still mix in a teaspoon of Katovit.

I regularly find pieces of dark grey and sometimes quite hard bits in the tins. My cats won’t eat them. Given the price, they should really check the ingredients. I took a photo just in case...
