Hill's Prescription Diet Canine i/d Digestive Care - Turkey - dog wet food

I'm giving this product two stars. It may seem unfair, as I can't comment on the quality or the benefits of the food only that our Bernese/St Bernard cross refused to eat it. I think the sticky texture also put him off. He had just undergone surgery for GVD. We resorted to plain rice and boiled chicken. Customer service were great. I returned the 20 tins for a refund.

I have been buying Hills ID get food for over 3 years. My dog has IBD and this is the only food (together with Hill ID dry food) that he can eat. Whilst I like the brand and I think the food keeps my dog estable, which is what is more important for me since he would throw up a lot in the past ; the consistency of the wet food changes too often and sometimes from can to can. This means that the food can be pretty dry in one can and in another one extremely wet. I believe this is a watch out point

Easily digested for dog with chronic pancreatitis as well as stomach & liver tumours. Along with medication, maintaining quality of life & comfort.

Excellent food for my dog with a very serious malabsorption condition. Very palatable, tried many other similar foods but this one ticked all the boxes...

Our dog has severe inflammatory bowel disease & this (z/d) is the only food that he can tolerate. It was recommended by our vet, after several other foods proved to be indigestible, & we are thrilled by the results. Our dog's symptoms have reduced & he has even regained some of his lost weight.

After a really bad stomach bug my beautiful golden 10 year old cocker spaniel was left with a upset tummy, and left with a sensitivity tummy which this product has help keep under control recommend this and the dry kibbles version. Pricey but worth it

Our Bernese mountain dog has IBS and I honestly do not know what we would do without he Hilld ID dry and wet food - they are both amazing products and keep our dog stable. I highly recommend this product.

It's really good for my dog, she eats it all up really quickly, and it makes her want to eat, which she usually doesn't feel like doing.

My little dog had a severe pancreatitis as a puppy, and thanks to this food, combined with the dry food also specially made for this problem, she now enjoys the very best health.

After my dog was very ill in 2024, the vet recommended this food and I’m really happy with it. She’s doing well and really enjoys it.
