I was looking for a soft cushion with an edge that would fit into my large dog transport box. The edge is quite high, so my dog doesn’t end up pressed against the front grille while driving, and he sits or lies safely during turns without bumping into the sides. It’s perfect for my box, so 5 stars from me – the price was great too. The fabric feels nice, the padding isn’t too soft and is just right, and I didn’t want one of those furry ones anyway. My dog likes it and now always happily jumps into the box.

I bought the 80x60 size (2 pieces) for a 30kg dog. The edge has no support at all (if you cover it with a blanket, it just bends). The cushion inside is good, soft. But the material choice is really bad. You’d have to wash it every two days if you don’t want the whole room to smell like dog. The advantage is that it’s washable, if you have a big enough machine at home, and it doesn’t take days to dry compared to others. But after two days, it smells like dog again, as if it hadn’t been washed in years. Our previous bed, which was over 10 years old, never smelled like this.
