Absolutely no cooling effect!

Me too. Last year, when it was new, it was great. This year it hardly cools anymore.

It took a lot of effort to get my German Shepherd to lie on it. On a really hot day, he sprawled out on it. Then the next day, the weather cooled down, he was full of energy, and tore it to pieces. Also, it would need much smaller sections, as the gel just slides around inside.

On hot days, this is really helpful!

The mat cools really well. However, our dog bit a hole in it on the very first day. Unfortunately, there's no way to fix it. Such a shame. If you don't have a dog that likes to bite, you might be happy with it.
