Suction cups work well in metal food bowl but the center fanned unit detaches with ease from the base, they're just two pieces of silicone, cocker spaniel had it separated in seconds.

Not even a medium feeder fits. I'd like to return it. It's completely useless to me.

Good and easy to use, easy to clean and no food on the floor because it sits in the food bowl.

I bought the insert so that my Alaskan Malamute puppy would eat more slowly – he likes to wolf down his food in less than a minute. Unfortunately, this insert hardly made a difference; he maybe took a minute longer than usual. The insert slides around in the (ceramic) bowl and doesn’t spin, even when I try to turn it by hand it’s difficult. What a shame!
