Trixie car safety gate

I bought this product so my dog could sit in the boot instead of behind the driver. But in the end, it doesn't hold up, there's no proper instructions for the "assembly"—sure, you don't need a master's degree, but at least some basics would help.

Positive: Easy to adjust to the sides so it fits the width of the car. Negative: Extremely difficult to mount securely. The feet come off easily while you’re trying to push the whole barrier firmly up to the ceiling to create tension. Then the other side you’re not working on becomes loose. The whole thing is a hassle. Since the barrier goes straight up and down from floor to ceiling, it’s easy for the dog to bump into the lower part, which can make the whole barrier topple over onto the dog, which is stressful.

The bars keep slipping down all the time, so I don't need a safety gate for that....
