I recently adopted a kitten and wanted to get him used to the idea of travelling from an early age. Having toyed with the idea of shelling out for a Sleepypod I was glad to have found this good (if not better) 'copy' at half the price. Although still pricey for a carrier it was worth it - I took kitty on a quiet and comfortable 5 hour round trip on public transport this Christmas and he is still happily sleeping in it every night. It's also so discreet most people didn't even realise there was a cat inside!
