I only bought this lead because it was really cheap. Otherwise, I don’t see any advantage in it being lined with mesh – it actually makes it a bit bulkier than regular nylon leads and it doesn’t fit in your pocket as easily. I’m also worried that the material might release extra microplastics once it starts to get brittle, but until then it does the job.

At the moment, it's an excellent lead. I've been using it for two weeks and it's still intact. It's perfect for puppies who need to explore but also need a bit of firmness.
