kooa 2-in-1 Claw Clippers & Grinder with LED

I haven't tried the scissor part, but the grinder is so awesome that you don't even need it—you can file the claw down in seconds (tested on an 8 kg pinscher). Previously, I bought a cheaper grinder, and when I pressed it against the claw, it slowed down and got stuck, so I spent a bit more this time and it was worth it—no such problems with this one.

Bought a year and a half ago and still just as effective, it’s not very noisy, handy with the quick USB charging and its washable case. Easy to use and safe. The file is still in great condition despite regular maintenance use for two dogs: one big and one small. There’s only one speed, the LED lights up really well, making it easy to file all sides of a claw, and it’s suitable for cooperative care training or desensitisation.

Doesn’t shine through the nail – warning! Not good for pigmented nails!!!!!! – and it doesn’t cut properly either, I don’t think you should have to press down hard just to cut a nail. I might send it back.

It doesn’t shine through the nail, honestly they could have written that it’s not good for pigmented nails. The light is only really useful for seeing where you’re about to cut. As for cutting: I specifically looked for a big, sturdy nail clipper for my German pointer, but when I press this one, it doesn’t cut—you have to squeeze with all your strength. I don’t think that’s normal. I’m thinking about sending it back!
