Insulation for Woody flat roof dog kennel

I bought the hut in size L. Delivery was quick and assembly was easy too. The instructions are easy to understand. Our female German Shepherds fit in well. The cats like the hut too, especially for sunbathing on the roof. All in all, a very nice hut.

The dog house is not suitable for permanent outdoor use. The roofing felt lets rain through after a short time – it's way too thin! As a result, it started to get mouldy pretty quickly. The roof battens also let rain and moisture into the house quite fast. Without treating the roof further, it's impossible to leave it exposed to the weather for any length of time. Overall, I'm very dissatisfied – the house is not worth the money!!!!!

After a total write-off this winter. The delicate fastening materials like screws and clips rusted away and the hut fell apart. All the bedding was damp, the lightweight wood broke and swelled up. Then the wind knocked over the half-broken hut. After that, it just wasn’t worth repairing anymore. Better to invest in a decent product!
