Beautiful designer cage for the interior, the individual boards are quite thick and sturdy, it’s not perfectly smooth everywhere and there are some small splinters sticking out here and there, but nothing terrible. Assembly was really easy and without any problems. The inner “mattress” is just a firm foam board covered with fabric, nothing super comfortable, but it does the job, and the cover can be unzipped and washed. The door doesn’t slide on a rail, just in a gap made by the boards, so it’s more like wood sliding against wood, but that’s just a minor detail.
