When my daughter saw the feeder, she thought it an act of great cruelty (!) to use on my Bulldog. However, we went from a 10 second meal to almost 30 minutes the first time we used it. It certainly slowed her down! She loves it, despite the fact that with such a short muzzle it does take her a long time, and I can only use the outer part of the feeder, she'd never manage the middle part. She hasn't managed to tip it over, but does make a mess sometimes as she's raw fed.

The product is a very well made product. very sturdy and a fantastic idea. Our dog used it for a few days and then decided to go into a huff because she had no patience. She decided not to eat from it any more. I still have it and I will try it again with her.

Bought this to stop my 6mo old beagle swallowing her food within seconds. It takes her now a good 5 min to finish her meals. Would recommend for fast eater dogs

My border collie loves this, it is bigger than it looks, very sturdy. Takes him maybe 10 minutes to eat his food Vs 1 minute before. Makes meal time a fun activity would recommend

Dog loves it, hasn’t figured out how to turn it over. But supervised only feeds. His happy with it. Nice to see a challenge. I used to scatter nuts around the floor for him to hover up but this is great instead! Disadvantage- cleaning! It will not fit in the kitchen sink!!

My Labrador loved this and tried to get his kibble with such gusto he scrubbed fur off his lower jaw and gave himself a callus. I now use only occasionally and it is fine but doesn't help stop him gobbling his food the rest of the time.

I was looking for the maize feeder as recommended by a friend but got this instead and it is wonderful. Somehow my dog hasnt figured out how to upturn it but instead flicks each bit of food out of the feeder with his tongue. Being a lab, it has slowed him down and he no longer inhales his food. He doesnt get irritated by it either, perfect for the job! and hasnt got scratched or damaged at all despite the manic feeding frenzies.

I saw this product over a year ago but didn't buy it as I thought it a bit expensive if my dog didn't like it. Seeing it advertised on Zooplus at a reduced price I thought I would give it a go to slow my Lab's feeding down. One of the reviews mentioned their dog just turned it over and I was a bit worried about this, however my very hungry Lab didn't and really loves it. It keeps him happy and even my Mini Schnauzer like to use it. Very happy with the quality of the item, easy to clean and does the job of slowing down feeding and keeping my Lab amused.

My dog always used to clear his bowl within less than half a minute, but with this Green Feeder it takes him far longer and he has to use his brains to work out how to get the food out. Yesterday he even took a break halfway through his dinner and then went back later on to finish off! This is a great invention and I'd totally recommend it. It's good quality at a good price too. The bowl is very solid and easy to keep clean - I'd buy it again :)

Our dog figured out the trick to get the food out of this one pretty much immediately. All she does is pull one of the stalks with her paw and sooner or later everything just falls out onto the floor, at which point she just 'hoovers' it all up. We tried putting it in a box so that she couldn't pull it over. Result? She broke the box to bits! It still takes her longer to eat than when she has a normal dog bowl, but using one of those balls that lets out dry food bit by bit as they roll around makes her meal take longer still.

No more gobbling and my dog enjoys the interactive game - he's far happier after he finishes his meal!

My Golden eats much more slowly from this bowl. We've been using it for years and it's still like new. A quality and long-lasting product.

The best solution so far compared to any other bowl, my dog eats much more slowly now and there’s less burping afterwards. It probably really does require a longer snout and active use of the tongue :)
