I've an eight month old American bully. He shreds every toy in a matter of minutes. I bought this last week from zooplus along with other toys. I know it might not last very long but its still in tact a week later. I'm really impressed with it. Definitely good for larger breeds.

My mutt Frida is 17kg but has strong jaws and chews toys to bits in no time. This one seems indestructible so far. Bounces off unpredictably and poses a good challenge. It's great fun watching her running after it and chewing it. The smaller one is a perfect size-she can carry it but it sometimes falls out when it's wet-inky adding to the craziness. Only 4 stars because it smells like a tyre (i am guessing it's the same material to make it durable) and i find it quite annoying.

Don't bother with this if your dog has a strong jaw. Took my dog less than 3 days to get through it and this is supposed to be the best one as it was xxl extreme. Great if your dog just plays and goes for the food but it certainly isn't indestructible.. 3 days..

We have two 5years old dogs, a boxer and a pitt bull. They were allways in a competition about who can destroy the toys first. Hard rubber balls, strong rope toys and anything else didn't last for more than 5 minutes. Now they have 3 Kong Extreme toys for 3 months and they absolutelly love them. The boxer chews his for several hours every day, while the pitt bull gives hers to us so she can pull it or chase it.

The toy is very durable. We have a pitbull and a boxer that used to break any toy in 5-10 minutes. Kongs have lasted very well for 2 months and they are still in good condition. They chew them every day, for a few hours, and we don't even put food inside.

Only toy my 8 month old Rottweiler has not been able to destroy. Would recommend to anyone who has a dog that chews.

Great to freeze wet dog food in and leave for the dog when going out for hours. Keeps her amused and content when I'm gone.

My dog gets really excited about this toy, it seems unbreakable and you can be v creative with what you fill it with. great

My American staffy got this toy two years ago for christmas, he loves it so much, plays with it tonnes and the kong still looks like new. great toy, I can definitely recommend it for strong dogs. Sometimes in summer we fill it with a mix of natural yoghurt, dried bananas and a tsp of honey, frozen overnight - a yummy ice cream for hte next day to lick away at.

This toy, bought in the right size for my dog, lasted longer than toys usually do, but apparently my dog is faulty and managed to break this one into three pieces too (right where each of the different parts are)... I honestly don’t know what I should buy anymore so he doesn’t destroy it in two days..

Day 4! My 11-month-old Rottweiler is tugging and chewing it non-stop!!! I definitely recommend it. Indestructible.

My 20kg dog had it for just 2 days and then it was broken.

2 amstaffs that destroy everything can’t handle this toy. We’ve had the toy for 4 years now and it’s brilliant. Perfect for food games and licking. All toys from Kong Extreme (that black rubber) are great.

I recommend it – with daily use, it lasts over 2 years for me. I wash it in the dishwasher and my dog doesn’t go easy on it 😉
