This prey dummy has been a fantastic training tool for my dog. He is a small breed (8kg) and loves it. However, it was once taken away from a German Shepherd in a dog park who ripped it apart within a minute and ate all the food lol I have several of these so there wasn't any issue with this. My dog is lacking strength to rip it apart.

We have had approximately 6 of these, they get thrown in mud, puddles and the sea. They very quickly look a muddy brown and blends in to the surroundings, which means our dog has to search hard for them, which is great. Our only problem is they never last long enough. They only get used while on a walk, but still get chewed and ultimately fall apart. Even so, our dog absolutely loves this, I wish we could get one that lasts longer!

I found out about Zooplus through my neighbour and I'm still really impressed with their selection. I found the dummy and just had to buy it. The item arrived and we wanted to get straight back into training... just a short interval between recall and dropping it – I picked up the dummy and the drawstring was hanging loose, the seam was already open, so unfortunately that was the end of our training. But all in all, it's a great idea with the zip and Velcro.

It fell apart pretty quickly, even though it was only used once or twice a week. Since then, we've got another dummy that handles wear and tear much better.
