Opened up the bag of dried beef lung the smell was so strong, had to put them in the shed...... Sorry I just couldn't bare stench off them

I've bought beef lung from a variety of different retailers umpteen times. This one is the best quality. My dog seems sure of it. Beef lung smells and isn't pretty - that's just how it is. It's not for us humans though, is it? Either way, we're definitely going to reorder it.

Rocco beef lung is fresh, loose, airy, a bit crumbly and my dog (weighs 20kg) loves it. My dog is really greedy so it's not long before the treat is gone - just a few seconds. It stinks but she loves it, so I prefer to give it to her either on the balcony or in the garden. It works well as a quick snack between meals. It's even good for old dogs with bad teeth because it's really soft and easy to chew.

I first bought beef lung for my beagle bitch and she loved it. The resealable bag is good too. Only problem is that they don't last long cos the pieces are not very big. But it's great as a little snack between meals and I will be buying it again.

Both my pinschers really like beef lung and I think the size is perfect for small and medium-sized dogs.

Good for the smaller dog <15kg. Non greasy. The dogs love them.

My dog absolutely loves beef lung, but the smell is unbearable (hardly tolerable). I don't know if that's normal?

Dear Sir/Madam, It's a disgrace that you dare to sell a product like this!!!!!!!!!! It's true that dogs are related to wolves and are scavengers, but the smell of this was unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!! It's a shame you can't experience it through writing! I basically threw away two thousand forints for nothing. Since my dog wouldn't have eaten it except in tiny amounts, where was I supposed to store it? When I opened it, the whole yard was filled with its stench!

My Ella is quite picky when it comes to dried beef lung, and for a long time, Ella was very happy with it. But now the lung just isn’t properly dried anymore and it doesn’t "crunch" either. I even had to throw one bag away because I noticed some discolouration on the pieces. It can happen that something’s not right once in a while, but with my second-to-last order it was 6 bags, and this time 9. I just can’t buy this lung like this anymore in the future.

There was a hole in the bag. I don't know if they were in bad condition, since they smell awful and according to other reviews that's normal, but my dog ate one and threw up a while later. Now, if I offer her one, she turns her head away.

Treat with a terrible smell for humans, but absolutely irresistible for dogs. At least, that's true for my Malinois x German Shepherd girl.

This stuff reeks so badly that even the dog wouldn’t touch it. I ended up throwing it straight in the bin.

The lung pieces are definitely something special, apparently, my dog loves his treats. However, the packs sometimes aren’t so great, filled with big chunks, and sometimes there’s a lot of small bits that are quite dry and dark. The last pack was fine again, with big pieces. But the quality, like with many treats, is going downhill. And they keep getting more expensive.

Very pleasantly surprised, my dog loves it and the price for the quantity is really worth it!
