alpha spirit Complete Wild Fish - dog dry food

Easy to store and serve, but would prefer larger individual packs, must work out cheaper. 5 packs only lasts 2 days.

Where to start? I simply can't recommend this food enough! I have been trying to find the right food for my dog for years. She has both digestion and sensitivity problems with her stomach and I found it very hard to find food that agrees with her and she enjoys. She is a very fussy eater but loves alpha spirit. I am totally converted as she has no more problems with her stomach and her coat is so glossy! High quality food and good value for money. Thanks zooplus!

The food worked great for my dog — he loves fish and absolutely devours this food. It has a gentle scent of fish and herbs, not too strong. Big plus for the 200g packs, especially with a dog that has environmental allergies. The only downside is the price for bigger dogs — 45 packs last us only about 15 days.

For my allergic pet, the quality and ingredients are fine, although she’s not a fan of ready-made foods anyway because she’s a picky eater. You have to add something tasty to it. She knows what’s healthiest: she’ll only eat homemade, cooked meals. Also, the containers are supposed to work as open/close, but unfortunately they don’t. The foil is stuck on for good, and once you peel it off, you can’t close it again. Sometimes you even need a knife to cut it open.

My dogs love this food. And it's really great that it's grain-free. It's also so practical with 200g packs that are easy to bring along on trips instead of having to carry a whole bag.

Output good to very good, small amount and 1x–max 2x/day. Noticeably less body and mouth odour. Eaten enthusiastically. Coat is soft and shiny. I even feel like my dog’s mood is more balanced now. Makes sense, especially since he used to have an upset stomach all the time. Yes, there’s quite a bit of plastic. But the portioning, especially for on the go and with semi-moist food, actually makes sense. So I’d say that’s a neutral or maybe even slightly positive point. Very active Vizsla/Labrador/Cocker Spaniel mix.

This product is advertised as soft food, but in reality it's anything but soft. My dog needs soft food due to dental problems and couldn't eat this at all. Unfortunately, for us it was money down the drain! I wouldn't recommend this for dogs that have trouble with hard food.

My little dog loves them!

After trying other dog foods, this is definitely the best one. I’ve been buying this food for over 10 years. We keep coming back to it because it doesn’t cause allergies. Its ingredients are clear and it’s good for the dog.

We've been ordering for a very long time, the food is perfect—no scratching at all, and finally the poops are just right 😅 Delivery is always fast!

We use these as training treats for the dogs, and they absolutely love them. We switch between the three different flavours, and it's really handy with the 200g tubs because the food stays fresh much longer. Absolutely brilliant. And if we're going on holiday, it's great to use this as food, since we can't bring the raw food we usually use.

My female dog is happy, she loves this food.

The products are packed in single portions. No need to weigh them. They're balanced, so you don't have to check. Must be tasty – because my dog eats them with gusto.

The dog doesn't want this food.

My dog absolutely refused to eat dry food... for years we had to add canned food as well. He happily eats this food without any extras and his digestion is excellent.

My adopted dog is older and when I got her she had a lot of problems: she’d had a lot of teeth removed, she scratched her skin a lot, and her poop was terrible, super constipated. I tried this food because the ingredients looked good, it was semi-moist and easier for her to eat, and there’s been an almost immediate improvement. I’m really happy.

My dog is large, 36kg, and will soon be 18 years old. She’s been eating this food for 3 months now and her coat has become shiny and soft, she looks fantastic, and she hasn’t had any diarrhoea since. The proteins are high-quality, coming from fish and not from plant waste. The glucosamine content in these products is quite high, which benefits cartilage and joints. Especially fish or high-quality fish oil is anti-inflammatory. For older dogs with arthritis and joint degeneration, this is very interesting.
