Brit Fresh beef with squash Puppy Large - dog dry food

At 8 weeks old, I switched the litter from the salmon puppy food to this one. They eat this just as eagerly, it's a good quality food, the kibbles aren't dry, but they are much bigger than the salmon puppy kibbles. These are about a centimetre in diameter, which matters if you want to give it to really young puppies. From 8 weeks old, they can already eat this. Before that, it's better to give them a good food with smaller kibbles.

Please pay attention to the calcium content when ordering. I ordered blindly trusting the manufacturer's description (for large breed junior). 1.5% calcium is definitely too much for larger breeds. The ingredients are fine, but you definitely need to mix this food with other products throughout the day to reduce your puppy's calcium intake.

My dog used to have stomach problems and was a picky eater. Since I bought this food, those issues are gone.

I bought this for my Giant Schnauzer puppy. We switched from Royal to this beef and pumpkin food, and it’s been absolutely perfect. The puppy loves the taste, is growing nicely, his coat looks much better, and his digestion is spot on. I’ll definitely be ordering again.

At first, my dog had slightly looser stools from these, but that’s normal when switching to new kibble, especially when the stomach is getting used to beef instead of chicken, and after a few days it settled down. I couldn’t resist and tried them myself. The taste is quite bland, but judging by the ingredients, they contain very reasonable components for a good price. I’ve never tried eating any other kibble, so I can’t compare. My dog likes them and that’s enough for me. Later on, I’ll add a small portion of BARF to the kibble so his stomach can handle both dry and raw food. I recommend them.
