This arrived quickly, and when I opened the pack, my puppy sniffed the air and ran over. However, he is a little Maltese of 21 weeks and the pieces are far bigger than the picture shows, with most between 3 and 4 cms - far too big for his little mouth. They are also too hard for me to break up easily, so I cut a few with poultry shears and he loved them. But I have very arthritic hands, so cutting them all is neither possible nor practical. So they will be given away.

I have been using this food on my Belgian Shephard X Border Collie for nearly 2 years now and it is absolutely perfect. He is sensitive to poultry. Even a slightest poultry gives him dihaerrae. Most foods even Beef based ones might include some poultry in it sometimes but the beef and fish version of this food has no poultry at all. He has been very stable with his weight and his coat shines. Every vet he has been to said keep whatever I have been giving to him.

We struggled finding a food for our pup that had good ingredients and at reasonable price. This fits both, plus its the only food that hasn't effect her number 2's or her bad wind she was having(no longer). Would totally recommend the food to everyone, comes well package and has a nice smell to it surprisingly.

Our dogs have been exclusively on this food for several years now - two previous dogs and the two present ones. It solved a sensitive tummy issue with a previous dog and I'm sure it helps with their lovely shiny coats. They love it.

My boxer and bullmastiff love this food. It's easy to manage their weight with it and their coats are shiny and soft.

I have a lab puppy who has a very sensitive stomach. I have tried a few different brands of food and we just couldn't get rid of the runny poos until now. Every since he has been on this the difference is amazing. Can't recommend this brand enough. I also a 3 year old lab who is now on this brand as well and they both love it.

The dogs adore the taste of this food, the sack arrived this morning and they were trying to get into it before i could even put it in their bowls. I love how it has a very minimal grain content with the only grain in it being a little bit of rice. its mostly lamb, duck and potatoes. Its hypoallergenic with a good meat content and great for dogs with allergies or sensitive bellies :) All of my dogs love it, from my tiny terrier to my lurcher and i use it as training treats for my parents dogs!

I have been feeding my dogs raw homemade food for almost 3 years, but have just switched to Lukullus. Reason for the switch is that I'm 7 months pregnant and making all the frozen homemade food was becoming tiring. I decided on Lukullus and have been happy with the switch. The ingredients are good, and on par with higher priced dry food. I mix the dry food with various wet foods to give them the variety they're used to and they're always keen to get their dinner and still happy healthy dogs.

When I first got this food my Poodles thought they were treats, the kibble varies in size, so my tiny girl who is only 3 kg she thought it was a bowl full of treats so she grabs a big piece and goes into her basket to munch away, It funny watching her run with what she thinks is a treat. All 6 of mine love this food. Just ordered the Barbary duck to try new flavour. I have noticed better coat condition on all of them, and skin is in great condition too 👍

I started my rescue springer on Lukullus after reading reviews of different dog foods and deciding this was a good quality food at a reasonable price. My dog loves it, his poo is always perfectly formed we don't get any smells from his rear end, and his breath doesn't smell. His coat is nice and silky and he doesn't have dry itchy skin ( he doesn't scratch.I therefore have to conclude that this food is good for him and have no complaints.

I researched dry food options and liked the idea of cold pressed foods. Choices are limited and I use both this and Markus Mueller too for a bit of variety. Lukullus is less crumbly than the MM, the ingredients are similar. My dog works hard ans looks great on his diet. The only downside is the quantity you feed always looks like a really meagre offering but just goes to show the quality isn't bulked out with rubbish.

I have 2 dogs,one being extremely fussy. Having done lots of research and tried many brands I've at last found the answer in 2 brands, LUKULLUS and MARKUS MUHLE BLACK ANGUS. These are cold pressed foods and look very similar and my dogs love both,so I buy both. My fussy hound now licks her bowl clean which has never happened before. There is also the added bonus in that her black coat has become the glossiest I've ever seen, which I'm sure is down to the food. Please note that if serving cold pressed food for the first time its worth weighing first, as it is heavier than dry kibble so servings are smaller.

My puppy is so fussy. He has tried every brand, wet and dry. Nothing worked. Until this. I thought I'd try the trial offer. Wow. He's not enjoyed his food like this since he was tiny. Now at a year old, he's finally in the right frame of mind. ..... .

I have a fussy 15 month old Border Collie, who was fed up of his previous food, which he would refuse to eat! It was a good quality food (Arden Grange) but he just wasn't interested. Bought the trial size packs to give him some variety, and it was gone in seconds. He seems to be in a better mood, and his tummy is fine (he's prone to a sensitive tum). The pellets are harder but he liked having a good crunch! Very satisfied. Will buy the 15kg packs in future. Thanks zooplus for stocking such a great range.

My lab does have a very soft shiny coat, but this food seems to keep it in top condition. He's also very laid back contrary to most chocolate owners experience, I don't know if the food helps but I like the no additives. I also like that a small scoop twice a day is sufficient, he's just the right weight and no huge poos so not much wastage.!

I've been using Lukullus for two years now and my dogs are in excellent health, everyone is commenting on their coats. The dogs themselves love the food one only have the dried food but one of my collies he also have half a lukullus pouch as a topper. The food is brilliant, and to do a mixed pack is brilliant also, so I don't have to order large quanties of food all at once as my dogs love both flavours which we use alternatly. Please keep the mixed packs.

bought this for my two senior weimaraners. They struggled with eating it because it was very hard compared to other dry dog food and so I had to soften it first with warm water, so not good for their old teeth! Only need a small amount of this compared to other dog foods though.

This is a very nutritious and well made product. My dog is crazy about it. When I was slowly switching to this food, my dog would pick out each piece of Lukullus and run to his bed to eat and savor it. He has only done this with his treats before and I have tried lots of high quality complete dog foods.

The old recipe was good, my dog tolerated it well. I searched for a long time because the previous food changed its recipe, and now the same thing has happened here—ingredients keep getting worse. I’m really angry and frustrated. You have to spend so much time trying to find a food with a good composition and value for money. Unfortunately, I can’t feed my dog raw or cook for him myself, as he can only handle dry food. We’ve already tried everything.

The new formula turns to powder, it's dry and the smell isn't as good as it used to be. For now, we're ordering something else. We loved the old one, our dog had been eating it for many years.

It used to be the perfect dog food in every way – texture, size, everything. Since the new (I assume cheaper) recipe, it’s awful. It breaks apart, turns to dust, and when you pour it into the storage container, there’s a 2cm layer of powder left at the bottom. When my dog licks it, the crumbs stick together in the bowl, and poor thing can barely get the clumps off. It’s like some low-quality feed. Such a shame, we loved it. But now I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, and from what I can see, this isn’t the only formula where they’ve managed to ruin the quality (for the same price, of course).

A complex recipe with all the right things for my dog, finally he has regular, normal stools.
