PURINA PRO PLAN NC Neurocare - dog dry food

My Jack Russel has been taking seizures and then was put on neurocare and hasn’t had one in 6 months so far!

On the recommendation of a vet friend, I started my almost 14-year-old dog on this food. She was having more and more trouble with tremors, couldn’t keep her head steady anymore, and it looked a bit like the shaking you see in Parkinson’s patients. But apparently this food is supposed to help with that. It wasn’t (isn’t) cheap, but the effect was really remarkable. She hardly shakes anymore, she walks with more confidence, and as a bonus, her coat is becoming much shinier and fuller. Delighted with it!

After our dog was diagnosed with epilepsy, our vet recommended this food to us. We've been feeding it to her for almost 2 years now. In those two years, we've had 5 seizures. We're absolutely delighted and glad that, thanks to this food, we can spare our dog from strong medication. It's brilliant that there's a way to manage it through her diet.

My epileptic dog devours them. I switched to these kibbles 8 months ago. Coincidence or not... since then, he hasn’t had any more epileptic seizures (at the same time, I also started a new medication, so the combination probably helped).
