Purizon Original Large Adult Chicken with Fish - Grain-Free - dog dry food

Our GS (55kg, 3 1/2 years old) used to be really picky but he enjoys this Purizon food (we give it to him in combination with fresh meat). Good size kibble pieces and no strong smells either!

I don't know if zooplus plans to do anything about this, but maybe it's worth reaching out to the manufacturer? I've been buying this food for years, and after the recent packaging change, the food for large breeds came with small kibbles. From the comments, I see this isn't an isolated case. I suspect there's a problem on the production line.

It was supposed to be for large dogs, I was assured that 'large' would mean big size. Turns out it's as small as a regular one. My dog got cheated.

I was misled. I ordered food for a large dog, that's what it says in the description and that's the information I got from the shop. It turned out the food is exactly the same as for small dogs.

Since the food got its new "improved" recipe, the kibbles are really small now and not big anymore. Let's see how my 30kg dog handles this.

Since I got my dog, I’ve been feeding him Purizon Large, and even the puppy food was Large. All good so far. At the start of the year, there were some delivery issues—these things happen. But what’s happening now is just not on! The kibble is tiny, even though it says Large on the bag. Talking to the people on the phone was a bit tricky because their German wasn’t the best. The staff were friendly and tried to help, no doubt about that. But in the end, it looks like I’ll have to look for new food. Such a pity 😞

The kibble size has become very small and flat. The description no longer matches the product!!! Also, the ingredients listed on the packaging and in the description don’t match anymore.

Help! Because of your change in the recipe, both my dogs got sick—diarrhoea and nonstop flatulence. I’d been buying these kibbles for them for 4 years. Why change it? It’s disgusting to mess with our pets’ health like this. DO NOT BUY, IT’S DANGEROUS. PURIZON ISN’T WHAT IT USED TO BE.

Warning: The kibble is so small, it could just as well be cat food. Less than 10 mm and flat. There’s no way I’m giving this to my 40 kg dog.

Unfortunately, the kibble in this product is very small – even though the description says 16-18mm. With the same product but with beef, the kibble is as promised, 18mm. It's a shame, I wanted to give my big dog some variety.

We had already been wondering since last year why our Boxer was having more stomach problems again, especially since his stomach had been stable for years now. Then in February, the shock: the kibble was as small as with the other food, nothing “large” about it at all… This size gets stuck in our dog’s throat. We had a 10% voucher and bought two bags, one of which was opened when we noticed this. Customer service is awful, we’re looking for an alternative too!!!

Extremely disappointed—the size of the kibbles no longer matches the "LARGE" label, and the formula must have changed because my dog's stomach can't handle them anymore. I strongly advise against buying this.
