My extremely fussy Akita loves this food and won't touch anything else, not even wet food. No issues with acceptance or tolerances, super soft coat, a good amount of firm stool.
I have been looking for a high quality food that is made exclusively from meat and veg/fruit (No rice/grain/potato), and I found just the thing with Purizon.
Dog and owner both very happy.
After lots of research, this kibble seemed to be a solution to our sensitive Border Collies (one of whom is handicapped).
We tried several different foods from Purizon, and this one was the best for us, but this is just for our dog and yours could like a different one better ;)
I have several dogs from shelters abroad, three that I can call my own and two that I'm looking after. All of them love this food and tolerate it really well.
We've had diarrhea on every transition, even the slow ones. But absolutely no problems with this one. No digestive issues from anyone. No bloating either, which we have had in the past with even high quality dry food. It's in and out very quickly. Would definitely recommend it.
After trying out what feels like most of the brands offered by Zooplus I have finally found a good one in Purizon duck which has resolved the intestinal issues that my Spaniel had.
Great digestibility and the only thing I could say is that sometimes it doesn't look that appetising.
Great dry food for fussy and/or sensitive dogs. My dogs are very sensitive when it comes to digestion and therefore very choosy when it comes to food. Purizon went down a treat from the very first time, and they've been eating it for more than 3 weeks now. They used to have quite dull fur, and Purizon has put a stop to that as well.
I have been looking for a food for my AmStaff for a good few months.
Since I've been giving my dogs Single Meat Duck, we have had no more trouble with diarrhea, itchy paws, or dull patches.
Simply amazing when it comes to value for money.
Finally we have found the right food!
Changed from Simpsons 80-20, as this was on offer. Both my dogs enjoyed it - I think they prefer the lamb to to the duck, as they ate this first, but scoffed both! Poo more solid with this than other premium food, so easier to pick up! Definitely worth a try, while it’s on offer.
The vets told me that Stan the Greyhound was to thin and I had to confess that keeping weight on him has been tricky, but not anymore. This is a great food he has gained weight and is now steady maintaining it. His coat is glossy and he looks in great condition.
I have a super picky bernese mnt dog and st bernard mix with sensitive tummy. So far we've been through many quality kibble and nothing seemed to work 100% for the sensitive one. Finally I found Purizon's Duck&Apple- his poo is finally normal and no more terrible smelling gas! Also my picky one really likes this food so I highly recommend it!
These are good value bags especially with the current offer. The biscuits are chunkier and slightly larger than the normal purizon. Similar to the wolf of wilderness biscuits if you've had those. I'd upload a picture but i can't seem to see the option, perhaps because I am on my phone.
The duck was a big hit with my blob, who tends to prefer the beef and salmon of the normal purizon. The chicken he did eat begrudgingly but only when thats all that was left. He would pick out all the better biscuits first, as i mix them for variety.
For this price they are definitely worth trying and if your dog doesnt like them, I am sure a neighbours dog or animal shelter would.
I was looking for big kibble for my 9 months puppy, i have gone from Taste of the Wild to Purizon Single Meat. REally good ingredients, quick transition, healthy appetuitie and good poos. Lima has a beautiful shiny fur and eats well (well doen as she if really fussy). One MOnth is Chicken and the other month it is duck! All in allreally happy! I will recommend these products!
