Tried my dog with this new food in trial size he absolutely loves it clears his bowl every time have bought a lot more in different flavours 5 star rating

High quality. Must be palatable to our fussy eater. Would recommend. Great resealable packaging keeps it fresh.

Have had a hard time finding a healthy food our dog will eat. He is now on a half dry half wet diet and doing really well. I think Wolf of Wilderness kibbles are fresher? Or are made better quality ingredients than other grain free foods. He digests it well. Would recommend, especially for fussy eaters :)

I had to find a new brand of food as Barking Heads was discontinued, and I was very happy to try Wolf of Wilderness. Both my dogs love it and were able to switch to it without any problem in just a few days. Their stool is better than it was before, too. Definitely recommended!

My Labrador loves that and the amount of his dogs waste is much more to accept:)

This seems like a very good food based on the reviews & ingredients. I bought a 12kg bag to try for my 2 dogs (pitbull mixes, 20kg & 35kg) they did okay but they started noticeably losing weight. I had to feed twice as much as the feeding guide stated, the bag was meant to last about 3weeks based on the guide but it lasted less than 2 weeks because of this which is not ideal as I'm on a budget. They did really enjoy the food though and there was less mess to clean up in the yard. 3/5 stars

My caucasian shephard has been wolfing this down. The mix is superb, completely suited to this breed, & the bowl is licked clean every evening.

After my Rottie not eating his food for 2 week I gave him this today and he "wolfed" it down!

I’ve tried several different fried foods, but always one liked it and the other didn’t. With Wild if Wilderness they both love it, especially the Wild Hills variety.

My 12 old GSD is getting very fussy about food but since changing to Wolf of the Wilderness she eats with no coaxing and her health is improving as a result

It’s a relief to finally find a grain free food that my 3 German Shepherds will all eat most of the time, 1 is very picky & eventually turned her nose up at raw. They all have a great coat & skin. The bag Is easy to open & has a great zip lock top

My dog used to suffer with itchy eyes before switching to this food. Months on and his eyes have cleared up and. He is happy, Im happy and he also loves his food!!

My staffy is both very fussy and has a sensitive stomach, which has made feeding her a nightmare. Both her and her tummy love Wolf of the Wilderness, she sits licking her lips when it's dinner time, which hasn't happened before unless it's our dinner she thinks she's getting. She's much less smelly since she's been eating it, and her poo is actually possible to pick up, although noticeably darker which worried me at first, but I guess it's down to the berries. Great food, highly recommended

I have a French bulldog and a pug. My frenchy has a grain intolerance and my pug seems to have a chicken intolerance. I have tried almost all dry dog foods that you can get in the UK and this bay far is the best brand. The whites of their eyes are clear and bright, their ears are healthy and their coat is thicker and shinier (the pug even sheds less). They have fewer stools which are always hard and easy to pick up and most importantly they love it. I tend to buy a variety of each flavour and rotate between them so they don't get sick of it. If you haven't tried this food already I would definitely give it a go.

I have a bedlington terrier (7) who is extremely fussy with itchy paws and ears, and a whippet x greyhound (4) who will eat anything and is very healthy overall. I've gone through more brands of dog food than I could count with them both, as it had to be a good jasper will try. In comes Wolf of Wilderness! It's like a switch has been flicked! They both scoff their breakfast and tea like I've never seen before (jasper just wouldn't eat some days, he would turn his nose up at all food except human) but now they can't get enough of it! Thank you Zooplus for the excellent deals and economy packs 😁 It means I can get my dogs a high quality food with high meat content and it doesn't cost the earth!

I use to feed my dogs with Orijen and Acana but this one is as good and cheaper. Good quality food. Kibbles are a bit too big for a smal dogs but I don't think they mind. Delivery is fast and reliable always within 5-7 days.

I have 3 bully's, one being very fussy. After introducing this there is never a biscuit left. All 3 love it. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars as have noticed their tear staining is much darker since changing to this biscuit. But overall really pleased.

Since 2026, with the new recipe, my dog scratches all over, the new recipe is a disaster. I switched to another food.

I bought this product for 3 years, but the change to the new recipe and the bag without a seal made us switch to another brand. The difference in ingredients is significant. Old formula: 41% fresh chicken + 10% salmon protein + 10% poultry protein + eggs… New formula: 25% fresh chicken + potatoes + 15.4% chicken protein + pea protein + … My dog started scratching more; at first I thought it was for another reason, but after we changed the food, the itching disappeared. Such a shame.

According to the packaging, the food contains "Fresh chicken meat with salmon". This should be clearly stated in the product description, which only mentions salmon.

We are very satisfied with the food we use.

I've been buying this brand for a long time. I've noticed that the look and colour aren't the same anymore. My greedy dog doesn't eat them straight away like before. She ends up eating them because there's nothing else for now. Her stools are light and soft. After reading all the comments, I understand better. Like many others, I'm going to switch brands.

We’ve been Zooplus customers for many years, first in the UK and now in France. We’ve always been happy with the service, but the recent changes to the dog food recipes have really disappointed us. The quality has dropped significantly: the new recipes contain much less protein than before, which is, for us, an incomprehensible change when it comes to feeding our pets.

The recipe change is borderline customer fraud. For two large dogs (30kg & 50kg), we’ve been ordering Wolf of Wilderness for about €1,200 a year and Knabbeldabbel for another €800. That’s around €2,000 in sales, for about 7 years—starting now, another supplier will be getting that business.

I placed my order thinking the kibble would be medium-sized. I ordered two because the price was perfect to give it a try, but my result is that the kibble is way too big for my dogs, even though I used the filters for my dogs’ size. The product description doesn’t mention the kibble size, and I think that’s a really important detail.

This food is a chicken-based food with just 4% fish content, namely "salmon protein". And yet it's called "Blue River". That's clearly deliberately misleading! This is an own brand from Zooplus, that's just not on, folks!!

New recipe to avoid... not at all the same quality, half as much meat. It would have been better to keep the old recipe and raise the price a bit. So now I'm also looking for another brand. And the resealable bag was also a plus that's now gone.

My Chihuahua girl loves the mini version. She finds it much easier to eat than the big ones, which we had to buy once when the mini was sold out. Since the new recipe, nothing has changed for her, everything's grand 👍

Since the recipe changed, my dog refuses to eat these kibbles. On top of that, my dog suddenly developed eczema between his paws. After reading several other reviews, I see that more dog owners are experiencing this. Such a shame.

The new recipe hasn’t agreed with Mia at all. She’d tried the old version before and it was grand, but with this one she’s had runny poos from the get-go. It just didn’t work, so we had to buy another bag with a different flavour.

I've given it to her as a treat and she really likes it.

My dog usually eats almost anything without any fuss, but this food with the "new recipe" can sit in his bowl all day. That's a very bad review. On top of that, the kibbles are very large, so it could be a problem for smaller dogs.
