Delivery takes a long time

Unfortunately, since the recent recipe change and reduction in fresh meet ingredients, my dogs refuse to eat it. I’ve been feeding different types of wolf of wilderness dry food for years, but the quality across all flavours is steadily declining, fillers like lingocellulose are added in most types, and prices go up despite cheaper ingredients. A shame really.

We have a Kerry Beagle (a midsized hound) and he absolutely goes mental for any of the Wolf of Wilderness dry foods. He loves his food anyways, but when the bag opens, he dances around every day! I always get a few of the small bags to test new varieties and the duck one seems to be yet another winner! One criticism is that the closure of the bags is really rubbish. A velcro style would be much better.

After my Rottie not eating his food for 2 week I gave him this today and he "wolfed" it down!

Storm is a 4 month old German Shepherd pup so she will love and eat anything, but so far so good. Have had no problems. Her coat is very glossy. She is very energized etc. The only negative I have, it makes her breath stink! Shame they don't sell this anywhere, in shops in the UK :(

My two huskies love it and they are very picky, I am very satisfied with this food, and love the 2x12 option especially!

I’ve tried several different fried foods, but always one liked it and the other didn’t. With Wild if Wilderness they both love it, especially the Wild Hills variety.

Having six dogs with a variation of taste buds and my own requirement to feed well we have tried many brands! This food has come far ahead of many more expensive brands we have tried. From the moment the kibble went in the bowl noses were going and tails wagging! Even our hardest to please old gentleman loves it m! The treats also went down a storm!

His breath after eating this is killing me.... Never again... changing to another brand - breath ok again

My 12 old GSD is getting very fussy about food but since changing to Wolf of the Wilderness she eats with no coaxing and her health is improving as a result

It’s a relief to finally find a grain free food that my 3 German Shepherds will all eat most of the time, 1 is very picky & eventually turned her nose up at raw. They all have a great coat & skin. The bag Is easy to open & has a great zip lock top

Betty my Boxer loves this food, coat and eyes shine and she looks a picture of health. Very digestible kibble that she loves. She has no problem with any of the varieties loves them all.

My 11 month old Scottie loves his food and is thriving. Digestive system very healthy. Lovely shiny coat.

We have 2 working cockers and they are fed this once a day and raw food for 2nd meal. They both love it. They had been on a very expensive different dry dog food since they were puppies and never seemed particularly interested in it. But they both love this food, no contest.

My (very wolf-looking) Siberian husky loves this food. When we got her as a puppy, she was very picky and would not eat at all for days if she did not like food. We tried every commercial brand of dog foods - until we found this Wolf brand. I now buy a mix of flavours in dry and wet, and alternate. Her fur stays dry shiny and beautiful, and she is full of energy.

I have a French bulldog and a pug. My frenchy has a grain intolerance and my pug seems to have a chicken intolerance. I have tried almost all dry dog foods that you can get in the UK and this bay far is the best brand. The whites of their eyes are clear and bright, their ears are healthy and their coat is thicker and shinier (the pug even sheds less). They have fewer stools which are always hard and easy to pick up and most importantly they love it. I tend to buy a variety of each flavour and rotate between them so they don't get sick of it. If you haven't tried this food already I would definitely give it a go.

I have a bedlington terrier (7) who is extremely fussy with itchy paws and ears, and a whippet x greyhound (4) who will eat anything and is very healthy overall. I've gone through more brands of dog food than I could count with them both, as it had to be a good jasper will try. In comes Wolf of Wilderness! It's like a switch has been flicked! They both scoff their breakfast and tea like I've never seen before (jasper just wouldn't eat some days, he would turn his nose up at all food except human) but now they can't get enough of it! Thank you Zooplus for the excellent deals and economy packs 😁 It means I can get my dogs a high quality food with high meat content and it doesn't cost the earth!

My dog loved it, but I don’t give him too much because he’s used to Royal Canin. So I mix them together.

I've been feeding this food to my two Cavaliers for several years now and we're very happy with it. The dogs like it and it agrees with them.

I don't recommend it, the formula has been changed. My dog has diarrhoea and it ended up needing antibiotics. The duck in this food is just an add-on, the rest is chicken and poultry fat.

The closures are crap, and now there aren't any at all.

My Swiss White Shepherd can't digest these kibbles anymore, new recipes, so I'm forced to switch brands after many years of trying different varieties. There's no zip to close the bag anymore either, which is a shame.

The new recipe is terrible, my dog has started to develop a strong odour… the price stayed the same but the quality has dropped by 90%. He grew up with this brand from puppy to adult, and now with the new recipes he leaves the food in his bowl.

I've fed these kibbles for years, but the new formula is not an improvement. There's a much lower meat content. My dog is drinking huge amounts of water now, so something's not right. Such a shame. Buying the small bags used to be a great solution for us for various reasons, but the price has shot up massively, so they're no longer appealing either.

My dog has been eating this dry food for just over 4 years now. I think the kibble pieces have become smaller and drier. There’s a lack of a guide about kibble size. But he still eats them, and that’s the most important thing. It was very difficult to find dry food for him when he was little.

A lot less meat to make more profit off the backs of customers, while the price stays the same—it's a disgrace!!!

The food is good, but what makes me reconsider buying it again is that the package no longer has the zip closure that prevents odours in the house.

Recently, it's been delivered in different bags, and they've left out the zip closure. Not a big deal, I just bought a food bin for it. Much worse than the bag change is the change in recipe—maybe the production or supplier has changed? Up until now, it was the best food; the "Duck" variety had a great smell and both dogs and owners loved it. Now the smell is gone, the kibble doesn't shine anymore, and they seem smaller to me. We're now looking for a different food/supplier.

Since switching to the new formula, my Golden Retriever has only had mushy stools. For three years with the old formula, there were no problems and his stools were always firm. If you look at the ingredients, you can clearly see that the meat content has been reduced by about 50% and replaced with some kind of fillers. I definitely won’t be buying it again.

Unfortunately, our experience has completely changed since the formula was updated. Now that it contains more different proteins, our labradoodle suffers a lot from itching. We were very satisfied with this brand for years, but because of this change, we’re sadly switching to another food.

I placed my order thinking the kibble would be medium-sized. I ordered two because the price was perfect to give it a try, but my result is that the kibble is way too big for my dogs, even though I used the filters for my dogs’ size. The product description doesn’t mention the kibble size, and I think that’s a really important detail.

Good product quality, affordable price.

Unfortunately, I received the wrong size because I thought the 12kg bag also contained the mini kibbles. Very misleading, as I have severe visual impairment and am almost blind. It's a shame, our dog won't eat the large kibbles, only the minis. So 12kg of food and €49.99 wasted.
