2 x 1kg Wolf of Wilderness Dry Dog Food - Try Now!

I recently ordered 2 bags and since then she’s been having black stools. It doesn’t smell very pleasant and I also have a sensitive one at home. Somewhere else it looks lighter, less oily and her stool actually looks nice, and another food change isn’t an option because she has a very sensitive gut and it took me over 2 years to switch her food, and I’m definitely not doing that again. That’s obviously something that worries me.

Unfortunately, I wasn't careful enough to notice that it's not just, say, simply venison-flavoured, but it also contains chicken, and that's what I missed when I was choosing which one I wanted. I didn't look at the pictures, because that's the only place you could see that it's not just venison or salmon or lamb, but also contains chicken alongside these... So I couldn't even give it to my dog, as he's allergic to anything chicken-related. And that's really annoying.

My dog never finishes her bowl, I have to add wet food so she’ll eat a bit. The smell is really strong, which makes me doubt the quality of the product.

Unfortunately, this variety didn’t work so well for my dog. It gave him a tense stomach and his stools were too soft. The scratching didn’t decrease either, unlike with the chicken salmon variety.

Very strange smell, makes me wonder if the product is expired or not.

Our dog is picky and he doesn’t really like these kibbles. He leaves them in his bowl and eats a few here and there throughout the day. We’re still trying, but usually there are some left until his next meal.

My dog doesn’t like the “soft” variety and it also upsets her stomach. She eats the “normal” one in different flavours really well and it suits her too.

The first bag was great! Soft kibbles that my senior dog could chew easily. The next bag was dry, and my dog was really hesitant to eat it. I complained and got a replacement. What can I say, bag from the same batch 🤷🏻‍♀️—dry again and my dog barely wanted to chew it. Such a shame, I won’t be buying it again.

I’m quite disappointed. I’ve been buying this dog food for many years—not just this variety, my dog has tried almost all of them. But for the past few months, I’ve noticed a pretty obvious change in quality, which has led to my dog having worse digestion, and you can really tell… Even just looking at it, you can see something’s different—the colour isn’t the same, and the smell is different too, almost like it’s gone off, even though it hasn’t. They’ve really dropped the quality, and they call that a “new recipe”…

Soft kibble for senior dogs seemed like a good option to try. It's just a real shame that the "resealable closure" doesn't work properly on one of the bags, so you can't store it airtight. As a result, the kibble dries out and becomes hard. Now I have to soak the kibble anyway before feeding it. Our old lady often doesn't finish her food, and after that the kibble gets so rock hard that I have to throw it away, because our dog really won't eat it anymore. It's also a pity that it only comes in one flavour.
