My dog has a sensitivity to chicken, turkey, lamb, beef, wheat. I tried him with this food and his digestive health is now excellent. Highly recommended. This is quality food and is far better for your dog than Hills, James Wellbeloved, Purina, and all the other cheap supermarket rubbish. Just check the ingredients!
Well what more can I see about Simpson’s premium adult sensitive salmon and potatoe-iv recently put my French bulldog on this food as she has been suffering with allergy rashes and what more can I say, this food has done her a world of good and helped her in a big way and she absolutely loves it and can’t get enough.shes been on all the more expensive food in the past as I was finding it a trial and error thing to have the right food for her and bingo this is the one for her 1000 percent.shelly?
Probably the best quality kibble you can buy! brilliant food that is great for your dog! My dog was overweight the feeding instructions are clear shes now well on track to being her ideal weight and this food is suiting her much better! Highly recommended goes down a treat so much be tasty too. I would defo recommend this to anyone looking for a quality no s*** dog food!!
15 month old pup has had digestive issues with food since we got her, we have tried a few different types of food, all of which where more expensive than this brand but none with as good results. Her poops have greatly improved (sorry if too much info) and she eats it happily, considering she has been a fussy eater in the past. Really pleased and will be ordering again.
After feeding our rescue lurcher a more expensive brand of salmon and potatoe for over a year , we tried this and to be honest I have found it ten times better , not only is it more reasonable but his coat is lovely and shiny and his dry skin has gone . He suffers from different food allergies and a sensitive tummy but this food works a treat and he loves it . Worth every penny .
I mistook what I'd opened for the dogs but was alerted to the label when I saw their excited reaction as I scooped it onto the plate. Definitely a prized food as far as the dogs are concerned.
I tried lots of different dry dog food and 1 of my dogs who has a sensitive tummy didn’t agree with them someone told me to try Simpsons Salmom and Potato which I’d never heard of so I found it on Zooplus and have never looked back both my dogs love it .
We've struggled for years with our dogs tummy. Since he's been on this dog food we've not had any problems! It's amazing!
I have 5 cavaliers ages from 11yrs down to 5 months , I have changed them all onto this ( puppy been on the puppy salmon ) they are eating every bit & 3 of them where very fussy & 1 has very sensitive stomach , I am delighted width they way they look , no more waxy ears & everyone comments on how shiny & soft their coats are , best food I've ever bought after owning dogs for over 30 yrs , worth every penny.
Changed my 2 year ckc spaniel to Simpsons sensitive. Was on 80/20 diet previously but his stools were very soft and he had terrible gas. Plus he was gaining weight at an alarming rate. Since feeding him Simpson sensitive salmon and potato he's slimmed down, stools are nice and firm and no more smelly gas. And not so hyperactive in the house.
The Simpsons salmon/lamb/chicken & Potato products really suit our two cocker spaniels. We have tried a number of other products to no avail, the dogs simply kept losing weight and had loose stools very frequently. We exercise our dogs through the daytime so feeding them well after exercise works best for them. As this is a high protein diet you do have to ensure you brush their teeth regularly, due to their IBS Symptoms it is difficult to give treats other than chews like rabbit ears.
Fantastic quality grain free food with no added ingredients with no nutritional value like other supermarket brands. My dog no longer suffers from irritated skin and loose stools I suspect this was due to the fillers and grains in previous food he was fed. We now have our happy dog back and an empty bowl:)
When we 1st got my puppy I had a bit of trouble trying to find the right food. Obviously I wanted the best food for my dog & was prepared to pay a bit more. I eventually tried this - after many other brands- and she loves it. Nice shiny coat, full of energy & very well formed stools. Definately recommend. Just wish Simpsons had more flavours for puppies
In one of the best quality dry food I´ve ever seen, my dog is very active and his stomach is very delicate, with this food you can notice how his hair is super shiny and his poo is as it should be. I´m really happy with this dry food. Also he loved and he eat it without any problem.
I have to admit my dogs are not fussy eaters but one of them has skin problem and we know it's never going to resolve. So it's keeping it under control with prescription shampoo, ear drops and when necessary steroid cream. BUT what I feed her is very important too, I have tried many quality brands but they have not helped some made her worse:( At last Simpson's is helping as well, I am just ordering my second bag and will stick with it now as both my dogs love it and their coats are healthy too. I would definitely recommend Simpson Premium
Excellent quality food.My dog suffers from skin allergies.I have been feeding Simpsons Salmon and Potato grain free for a few months now with great results. He cannot wait for his dinner. I even use as training treats. He is much more lively, bright eyes and his coat is growing back. Highly recommend.
My 11-year-old dog has always had a sensitive stomach and has always had a high quality food but she still had rather soft poos. Then last year she developed an intolerance to the food she had had all her life so I changed her onto Simpson Premium Sensitive Adult Salmon & Potato. I'm so happy I did as her poos have become firmer and she has put on weight (she was getting too thin before). She actually looks a lot better and seems more lively. People don't believe she's nearly 12.
My 5 year old bulldog has had flank alopecia for 2 years, I've tried every high quality dry food and raw diets, he's allergic to a lot of ingredients which means finding a suitable food is difficult. After using this food for 3 months his hair has grown back, his coat is shiny and it doesn't shed as much, both he and I are super pleased!
After many years with my German Shepherd suffering from constant boughts of diarrhea and after we had eliminated almost everything he ate I changed his diet to Simpsons sensitive salmon and potato on recommendation. I cannot express how much his life has changed he is now on his fourth bag of this food and never had diarrhea since day one, he loves the food which is a huge bonus and he is so much healthier and happy in himself.
We have tried every food (all high quality) for our Springer with a very sensitive tummy - I was getting very worried as some foods seem to make him extremely unwell and others he just about tolerates, but doesn't seem himself and his skin gets irritated. I can honestly say he thrives on this food - he is healthier and happier after 12 months of Simpson Premium Sensitive. We're delighted and our Springer has his spring back!
We have a GSD with a sensitive stomache, or at least he did when we rescued him. However, after changing his food to Simpson's salmon and potato, he has a beautiful coat and is just so fit and well! There is no question that the food has made a big difference in his overall conditioning along with regular grooming!
Overall: dogs love it, great for the coat and energy, easy to digest and not as expensive as it might appear! We have two active corgis, one who will be 2 in May and the other will be 8 in July. Previously, they were eating Marcus Muehler and got on with it fairly well, although one of them was a bit fussy with it. When we started Simpsons, it was to see whether it would help the younger one with a skin allergy he was developing at a 1 and 3 months. It seems to have helped (I can't be sure if it was the food or just a change in the seasons) but both dogs absolutely love the food. I noticed within the first several days a lot more energy from them, to the point that I adjusted their food and gave them a bit less. They love the taste so much I can use it as training treats. No problems with digestion (not even at the beginning) and stools are firm and easy to pick up and unlike the previous food, there was less of it. I did try one order of the chicken, to give them a bit of variety. They liked it well enough but their stools were noticeably more whiffy. Their coats are lovely and the vet has commented on this on more than one occasion. I was very concerned about the cost and initially I was only going to buy this food temporarily. But even though this bag is 3kg less than Markus Muelher and costs more, I can say that over the past six months, I have placed fewer food orders so they clearly meed to eat less of it.
As a pup my Labradoodle had numerous trips to the vets with ear, eye and minor skin infections, despite being fed on high quality food. After lengthy research I decided to try Simpsons sensitive range. 2 and a half years later what a great decision this turned out to be. No further infections, glossy coat, calmer and a greater general wellbeing. Other added benefits include smaller, well formed poo, a good variety of flavours, high protein, reasonable price and British made. Can't recommend highly enough!
From getting my flat coat Retreiver as an 8 week old pup I found he was unable to eat many dog food with his sensitive stomach even the tins the vet gave me didn't help much he kept getting the runs really badly and was getting thinner. So after being advised to try Simpsons Sensitive Puppy food he then much to my relief got better and his runs stopped now he is on the Salmon and Potato and Lamb and potato sensitive dry food and is is super health with plenty of energy. Thank goodness for Simpsons.
As most Greyhound owners know, they have particularly sensitive stomachs and ominous gassy emissions that are famed for clearing rooms! We are now on our third sack, having tried other premium foods, our girl loves it, her poops are so much better and the emissions have all but disappeared :0)
I bought a Flat Coat Pup and found he had stomach problems he had a lot of bother with Diarrohea and despite several visits to vet and trying different foods he still had it so my daughter told me she had heard Simpsons sensitive for pups was good. I bought a small bag to start off with it wasSalmon and Potato sensitive for pups and within a few days I could see improvements so then bought a big bag and he no longer had Diarrohea. He is now on the adult sensitive food and has grown to be a well built strong dog with beautiful shiny coat. I did try him on another dog food but that was a disaster so I'm keeping him on Simpsons sensitive. Thanks Simpson.
My 4 Year Old Stafford Has Alway Suffered From A Food Alergey And Dry Skin But She Has Now Been On This For 6 Weeks And Her Skin And Coat Have A Marked Improvment She Loves It From First Time It Was Put Down For Her
I am so happy with Simpsons sensitive. .I was previously giving my dogs their 80/20 range..but tge protein was too high and stools were too loose. I changed to the sensitive range and im so impressed! My stafford has never had firm poo but within a couple of days has changed all of that, he was aldo very very fussy...ive tried him on Acana, Orijen and taste of the wild. ..all of which he sniffed at and walked away...from the 1st day of using simpsons he gobbled it all up and looked for more! I can not recommended this food enough...and why it is not more raved about I dont know. .everyone should feed Simpsons! And I dont work 4 them! a
I have 2 Springers and 1 GSD all had food related problems but since changing to Simpsons Sensitive Adult Salmon & Potato my dogs have blossomed. My Springer bitch has many food related allergies and Simpsons has given her so much more quality of life. My GSD never did a solid poo in his three years of life, but now its a "pleasure" to pick up!!! My other Springer has chewing problems but because Simpsons is small kibble he has no trouble tucking in. Thank you Simpson - all this and BRITISH too!!!
I have five dogs and I always feed them high quality food without grains and other fillers. One of my dogs can be quite fussy with some foods but she absolutely goes nuts when I get this food out of the cupboard. I have also noticed there is far less poo to clear up which is a blessing with five dogs!! I will definitely recommend this food to other dog owners. I just hope the price does not rocket like some of the other brands have recently.
akita had upset stomach but since i changed to this food he is alot more active and better its only been a few days too
I have dogs who have ibs or are fussy eaters and all of my dogs love the simpsons range and thrive on it. I rotate different flavours so they don't get bored and their coats are glossy and thick and their poops are small and well formed. I love Orijen and Acana but they have outpriced themselves so this food is comparable and yet at a good price. Also their customer support for any questions is good and helpful. One thing I find is mine don't eat as much as the feeding guidelines so one sack lasts three dogs a month and I know I'm feeding them the best I can afford with no rubbish or cheap fillers in it. Would always recommend this food.
My dog Maxi always had problems with itchy skin, but after feeding him Simpsons Premium Salmon the problem is gone. The result is a shiny coat and great skin! I am so happy for him!
